Dominic is walking home from a boring day at school.
He's about to pass a creepy looking mansion when he accidentally kicks something with his steel-toed boots.
It sparkles as it spins to a stop on the sidewalk. Dominic's jeans stretch as he kneels down to pick it up. He holds between his fingers a rusted key.
He tries to inspect it, but the dim light from the cloudy weather doesn't help very much. He looks over to the dreaded mansion and figures the key must open a door of some sort.
Normally, it would be stupid to go into a creepy old house on your own... But Dominic couldn't shake the feeling that he had to go in there..
He walks up to the front door and finds a lock. He tries to insert the key, but the hole is too big.
He reaches out to shake the door handle -- not expecting it to open. But as soon as his hand pressed down on it, the door flies open and lets out a huge puff of dust. Dominic chokes and coughs as he fans away the dust cloud.
~Ugh.. it smells like old wood in here...~ Dominic thinks to himself.
As the diseased wood creaks under Dominic's boots, he proceeds with caution and finally finds himself facing a dark hallway.
"No way I'm stupid enough to walk through there blind.." He says to himself. Reaching into his gray hoodie pocket, he takes out his phone and turns on the flashlight.
The flashlight reveals rows of doors on both sides of the hallway, and they're all locked.
Dominic tries the key on the first door to his left.
Doesn't work.
He tries the one behind him.
Doesn't work there either.
He turns around to look at all the doors when something catches his eye... A door that says "KEEP OUT".
Excitement fills Dominic's chest as he approaches the door. He puts in the key... And it opens!
Now Dominic's chest is really pounding. What could be down there..?
Flashlight still in hand, Dominic walks down a steep staircase. At the end of the stairs, Dominic can see a blue light emitting from around the corner. When he peeks around that corner, he's stunned at what he sees.
It's an old science lab.
Wires are dangling, and circuits are popping. Dominic was careful where he stepped.
Dominic turns off his flashlight and opens his camera. He starts taking pictures of everything.
Who was this person? What happened to them? The more Dominic looked, the more questions he had. He switches his camera to video mode and starts recording...
"Guys, you're never gonna believe this..."
