I find that anything I write somehow becomes depressing. I was writing a story for a project in my English class and somehow it went from making new friends to the main characters sister dying...

That's a problem. I also can't draw anything without it having a dark background. For a French project we had I drew a mini comic and it was about Newtmas but of course they didn't have a happy ending...

I have been trying to work on this but I for some reason can't write anything happy. It's a curse and a blessing at moments. I was once trying to have my characters be super happy as they were going to a carnival with their friends but somehow I made it super sad by having then breakdown when they thought about clowns...

I have no clue why or how I do it but I don't want to know why. It's gonna be so hard explaining to my French teacher why my comic is about death...
