Hatred.
It is in everyone.
It is spawned, bred
from anything that's in someone.

Pain.
Physical and emotional,
the roots nourished by the rain
that falls from clouds uncontrollable.

Fear.
Spun in the web of stories and lies.
It causes the good things to disappear,
caught in the sticky trap likes flies.

Stress.
The emotion that resides in us all.
For me, it may be enormous,
but for you, it can be so small.

Loss.
Fueled by death,
it creeps across
our soul and steals life's good breath.

Rage.
What makes up the devil.
Locked up in its burning cage,
ready to burst and rebel.

Failure.
The rock bottom of our lives.
It affects our actions and behavior,
changing the way we try to survive.

Acceptance.
Deep inside, it's what we all long for.
We all peer back, looking for reflectance
to see what people see at our core.

Hunger.
A mere dream of what life should be like.
We looked forward to it when we were younger
and prayed for every night.

Greed.
It's a devouring pet
that never has just one need,
and constantly has to be fed.

Grief.
It crushes the mind and soul.
But it is never brief,
an endless, never-ending black hole.

Hatred, pain, fear, stress, loss, rage, failure, acceptance, hunger, greed, and grief.
They all are found, for they are not rare.
But there are more than those eleven.
The terrible, terrible emotions
that all add up to create the world's worst despair.
