So today is finally the start of Thanksgiving break for my school and break is supposed to last the entire week. Basically I don't go back to school until December. Anyway, school was okay today. I had two tests today, one in Algebra II and Art. I think I got an A on both of them. We'll see when I get the scores back. I was supposed to present my poem in front of my classmates in English for Poetry OutLoud, but things didn't go well. I ended up freezing up and I couldn't speak. I literally lost all will to speak and I stood there stuttering. My classmates and friends turned their backs to me so it'd be easier for me to present, which I'm thankful for. And now I realize that they actually care... I'll be presenting on Monday when we come back from break. I'll be sure to make the wait worth it. ;)
I think the last few minutes of school was interesting. My English teacher asked what everyone was thankful for. One of my classmates answered, "Do you know what I'm not thankful for? Columbus with other settlers coming over to America and wiping out the Native Americans and ruining the environment." (I can't remember the exact thing, but that's what it basically was.) The classroom was filled with the shouts of "Ohhh!" because everyone thought that was awesome and some people got burned (slang term). Her answer made my day because that was pretty true and I found it hilarious since I, along with other people agreed with that. After that, she said what she was thankful for. I just really enjoy all the people in my English class because we all get along with each other and my teacher is awesome. I'll reveal what I'm thankful for on Thanksgiving because why not?
