"I wasn't really looking forward on meeting you but since you have to know me better because apparently we're getting hitched, I guess we could go somewhere to know each other better?"

"I wasn't really looking forward on meeting you but since you have to know me better because apparently we're getting hitched, I guess we could go somewhere to know each other better?" Krish suggested Akira with a bored face.

Both Akira and Krish fell into a trap of misalliance when the fickle of their fates got crazy.

Akira's father Major Arjun asked Krish's father Aditya to make an alliance with his elder daughter Akira before taking his last breath.

Aditya being the best friend of Arjun resolved to fulfill this wish at any cost, unaware of the blooming romance of Krish and Akira's younger sister Anika.

Krish loved Anika since childhood whereas Akira had a secret crush on Krish which she kept under wraps of her heart walls, she could hurt Akira even if it meant sacrificing her wishes.

Anika and Krish felt dumbstruck. Both of them never disclosed their elders about the love relationship, knowing that their orthodox families will never approve an idea of a love marriage. Secondly, they knew Aditya would not leave any stone unturned to fulfill his best friend's last wish, even if it came on the cost of someone's life.

Aditya valued friendship more than anything. After all, Major Arjun helped Aditya in setting up his business by selling the paternal manor of his dead father, now it was Aditya's turn to prove loyalty to his late friend.

On the hand, Krish, Akira and Anika felt helpless in front of Aditya for whom "Promises should be kept even if it puts life in jeopardy" was the ultimate motto.

Unwilling Krish and Akira alliance got fixed. Both sat across a table on the terrace of Akira's house on insistence of the elders, who thought they should get to know each other before marriage.

Anika had a volcano of emotions in her heart. She had anger  on her late father who took promise of this mismatched nuptial, she became sad to see Akira with her love and a sudden fire of envy started igniting in her mind for her sister.

Akira nodded her head silently on Krish's suggestion of going somewhere else, going away from eagle eyes of the elders of the house felt like a cool breeze in scorching heat.

Krish and Akira went to a nearby café to discuss their next step, while Anika burned down in jealously.

As Krish dropped Akira home and went away, Anika dragged her sister inside her room.

"Akira, stop snatching away Krish from me. Secondly don't waste your energy, Love don't happen twice.Krish loves me and not you" Anika erupted on Akira.

"I am not doing it willingly and don't accuse me of something which I didn't do" Akira stated with hurt evident in her eyes.

"Then go and end this marriage saga !" Anika shrieked.

"Don't make me the scapegoat, fight for your love on your own," Akira retorted, and she stomped out of the room.

Few days passed, Akira and Krish often met due to wedding shopping and arrangements. Anika kept pressing Akira to deny the wedding proposal, but the latter chose to remain silent.

Wedding day came, Bride ascended to the altar. Wedding rituals started and everyone keenly looked at the rituals happening.

Suddenly, someone interrupted the wedding and exclaimed," This wedding can't happen, she never deserved to be Krish's bride".

Everyone looked at the intruder's face, and they glared as if an alien stood there.

But how can alien arrive? Is wedding a thing for outer space too? Well, humans are better in matters of heart but when emotions enter drama is bound to happen.

"Akira, what are you doing and what on earth is happening!" exclaimed Aditya in wrath.

"I am doing what my heart wants" Akira replied with boldness in her eyes.

"You shared everything with me since childhood, that does not mean that I will share my love with you!" Now shouted Anika losing her temper.

"Sharing toys and clothes was my affection for you, don't dare to think my affection as my naïveness" Akira retorted fearlessly.

Akira glared to Anika while Krish looked at both the girls in astonishment.

"You locked me up in the room and sat at my place. I kept thinking of your well-being throughout my life, but today I will think about myself and I will listen to my heart," Akira spoke out as she untied the holy nuptial tie of pink cloth held between Krish and Anika.

"Krish is written in my Destiny" Anika shrieked in uncontrollable anger.

"Krish was written in your Destiny, but you forget that lines of Destiny in our palms changes each day with our decisions. You never stood up for your love instead you grew jealous of me, not only this today you trapped me inside the room and dressed up as a bride to marry Krish" Akira stated.

"Everything is fair in love and war," Anika answered.

"Yeah, you are right it's definitely war not love. True love is never jealous and insecure. Love is another name of sacrifice. People fight against the whole world for their love but both of you never stood up for your love. Marriage is a lifetime promise and I won't marry someone who can't stand up for himself, I had feelings for Krish, Destiny too favoured my side, but I know Krish will never love, in return, no matter how pure is my love for Krish. Therefore, I unlove you, Krish" Akira spoke out, leaving everyone surprised.

Anika and Krish got married, Aditya realised his promise was kept and fulfilled. He understood that Akira chose the path of self-respect instead of following the path of orthodoxy, she didn't become victim of one-sided love.
