Ciel's POV

As soon as Sebastian left my room, I lay there thinking about Charlotte. Why would she let a boy sleep with her? She isn't even the slightest concern how it bothered me.

I wonder why it bothers me. It's not like she is someone special to me. Sure, she is the Princess but that's a different kind of special.

Ugh! Why am I thinking about her? Control yourself, Ciel!

I wonder if they're asleep right now. I think I might check on them for a while. Oh great, I'm thinking about her again.

I tiptoed to the door and opened it slightly. I peered out to the hallway. There wasn't anyone there.

I walked silently to the door at the other side of the hallway. I touched the doorknob and turned it slowly and steadily, so that it wouldn't make any noise.

As I entered the room, I saw Flame and Charlotte facing each other aaleep, holding hands. Their faces were just inches away.

I felt a slight pang in my chest. Is this... jealousy? Why would I be jealous? I have a fianceé, for Pete's sake! I shouldn't be jealous.

But still, I can't stop myself on being jealous. Why do I feel this so sudden? As I turned to leave, I saw Sebastian by the door and gasped in surprise. I looked at Flame and Charlotte for a second and was relieved when I saw them still asleep.

"What are you doing here, Young Master?" Sebastian asked me.

"I-I was just..." damn it. I stuttered. "I just went to check on them."

"That is very unusual of you, Young Master." Sebastian smirked. I blushed.

"Shut up demon and do your job." I snapped and glared at him. I can't help but feel embarassed that I entered a girl's room without her permission. I walked back to my room and buried my face on my pillow.

Why do I care so much? It's not like I want to be in Flame's position or anything...

After a few more minutes of laying there awake, I started to fall asleep.

Sebastian's POV

My master fancied Lady Charlotte. It was as clear as water. He wouldn't go to Lady Charlotte's room in the middle of the night just to check on his guests.

I smirked at the thought. This may help my young master in many ways.

I took out my pocket watch. My, I am getting behind schedule. I must do my job on time.

I sped away to the kitchen preparing the food for the Young Master tomorrow.

Charlotte's POV

I woke up before Flame. I already had myself readied and sat in front of the mirror waiting for Meirin.

As soon as Meirin went inside my room, Flame yawned and stretched as he sat up. Meirin turned red. I turned at Flame's direction and saw that his top three buttons were undone. I laughed to myself.

"M-Miss, w-who is that?" Meirin stammered.

"Well..." I thought for something I might tell her to conceal the fact he is a phoenix.

"He is my brother!" I replied. "His name is Flame. He just came last night so you haven't seen him."

"Oh..." Meirin thiught out loud and proceeded on doing my hair style. After that, Meirin left the room. I sighed.

"When did you become my sister?" He asked. I giggled a little.

"Just a while ago." I replied. "We'll make the staff believe you are my brother because they are not allowed to know your a charm."

"Fine." He said, still sleepy. "I thought I heard someone sneak into your room last night."

"Why would anyone sneak to my room in the middle of the night?" I questioned. That's interesting.

"I don't know. They're creepers, I guess?" Flame suggested. I giggled a lot more. He really is funny most of the time.

I went to the closet and pulled out a noble outfit and tossed it at Flame. "Get yourself ready, we don't have all day." I told him and he went to the bathroom.

Third person's POV

Charlotte and Flame walked to the dining room, holding hands. As they entered, Ciel's eyes were immediately looking at their hands. A hint of jealousy was saw in his face but not that noticable.

"Please take a seat." Ciel told them grumpily. They sat down side by side and finally removed their hands from each other, much to Ciel's relief.

"So did you sleep well last night?" Ciel asked them, Charlotte mostly.

"Yes, it was a fine. We were sleeping nicely under the covers." Charlotte answered, eating a piece of her pudding. Flame did this synchronically.

Ciel looked annoyed at them since they are like twins who does everything together. He's starting to get jealous.

Stop it, Ciel! Ciel thought, Why are you being agressive today! Flame didn't do anything wrong!

"Are you okay, Ciel?" Charlotte asked him.

"I am fine. Thank you for asking." Ciel said with his normally emotionless face.

This is just nothing, Ciel thought to himself, This will be gone before I knew it.

He finished his pudding and stood.

"If you need me, I will be in my study." Ciel said, walking towards the door with Sebastian following him.

"You seem to be agressive today, young master." Sebastian asked Ciel as they walked to his study.

"Don't say nonsense, Sebastian." He replied and took off to his paperwork.
