Charlotte's POV

Ah, those shock looks in their faces! Definitely priceless!

I resist the urge to laugh my face off. They are giving me all the amusement I need. Finally, Ciel snapped out off his shock. He gave me a look which feels like 'tell me what the hell is going here.' And it looks more of a command than a question.

"So what are you, your majesty?" He asked me. I know he was suspicious of me but he just kept his emotionless face.

"Quit with the majesty thing since your my friend at childhood," I began, "I'm just a mere human. I'm not supernatural of any sort. Well, I do have a bit of witch blood..."

"So your a little like a witch?" He asked again.

"Well you can say that but I work with charms." I answered while shoving my hair to my back to give them a good look on my necklace.

"I collect charms- with the help of my cat, Chesire- and identify their powers." I continued. "Each charm contains a different kind of power. Some of it is Fire, Water, Nature, Air, Flight, Protection and Invisibility. These charms are very useful to me."

"What kind of charm did you use just a while ago?"

"That was a Chesire charm. Chesire had it when I found her as a kitten." I replied, playing with my necklace. "That's why my smile was the last one to disappear when I make myself disappear."

"Is that all?" I asked boredly.

"Wait," Sebastian said, "So you are the charm princess in the legend?"

I smirked. "Of course, who would it be if it wasn't me?"

"Sebastian, what is the legend?" Ciel asked Sebastian completely ignoring my question. He, it doesn't matter. It was a rhetorical question anyways.

"It is when a young girl finds a chesire cat. Chesire cats are very rare. It is believed that the chosen one will be the only one who can find these creatures. The chesire cat will make contract with their finder and obeys them. It is almost like of a demon's contract but the difference is they are known to be pure, not a single stain on them." Sebastian explained. Ciel nod in understanding.

"One last question," Ciel said, "Where do these charms come from?"

"I thought you'll never ask," I replied rather sarcastically, "These charms came from different places around the world, cursed by witches and wizards. And yes, wizards do exist. Also, you can find them in different dimensions. I've only been to other dimensions for four or five times."

You know what happened next? I was sent to my room until Ciel decided what to do.

But, being the little troublemaker I am, I sneaked to the garden and summoned my fire phoenix, Flame.

Flame perched in my hand.

"Good evening, princess." Flame greeted me. Oh right, it was already seven.

"Good evening too, Flame. It has been a while, hasn't it?" I replied.

"Indeed it was, your majesty. Am I of no use right now?" He answered.

"No, you are very useful to me. Can you turn to your human form?" I asked.

"As you wish." He said.

He was engulf by fire. After a few seconds, there was a boy around my age with blonde hair wearing noble like clothes standing in front of me.

"Charlotte!" He exclaimed and hugged me tightly but not as tight to suffocate me. I smiled a little bit.

"Your more polite in your phoenix form." I told him.

"Aw, don't say that." He pouted. He looks cute though. Then I had an idea.

"How about I introduce you to Ciel?" I said, smiling brightly.

"Whatever you say, princess." He replied smiling a bit.

I pulled him to the backdoor. As soon as I opened the door, I saw butter knives coming to Flame's direction. Flame caught it with ease.

Suddenly, Sebastian came in front of us.

"It's okay, Sebastian. He is my friend." I told him. He looked at Flame for a second. After that, he went off to his merry way after excusing himself.

I grbbed Flame's hand and dragged him to Ciel's study. As soon as I entered the room, Ciel had his eyes at Flame.

"Who is this if I may ask, your majesty?" Ciel asked, standing up from his seat.

I rolled my eyes. "I told you to quit the majesty thing. This is Flame, my phoenix. Before you ask anything else, he is a charm and can take form of a phoenix." I answered his question.

'Charms can take the form of a human?" He asked.

"Yes." I said with a 'duh' tone. "You are seeing one now."

"Nice to meet you, Lord Phantomhive." Flame greeted Ciel with his usual smile.

"As to you. I am Earl Ciel Phantomhive, which looks like you already know." He replied, his face stoic as ever.

I felt a slight awkwardness between them so I spoke up. "I want to go to bed right now. Come Flame, I want to sleep with you."

"You're sleeping with a boy?!" Ciel exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Yes, we do that most of the time." I answered. I waved to Ciel and walked out of Ciel's study and headed to my room. Flame followed me.

"It seems that he is concerned about you." Flame said as he sat on the bed. I entered the bathroom.

"Nope, he is not. Not even the slightest." I know it was partly a lie but oh well. I changed into my night gown.

"It must have been just a hunch." He said while rubbing his right eye. How cute. He already changed to his oversized white shirt.

"Anyway, let's just sleep." I said as I jumped into the bed. I heard Flame chuckled and lay beside me. We faced each other and held hands.

"Good night, Flame." I said.

"Good night, Princess." Flame replied as I drifted to the world of sleep.
