Pride.

That's a funny phrase,

If you think about it.

Schools teach you to have school pride.

But still, pride's the problem,

Of this world.

Just think about it.

Many wars wouldn't have happened,

If they didn't have so much pride.

Fights break out,

Because people believe they are the ultimate one.

They believe they are supreme.

Believe they are the best.

Now, I'm not saying pride is completely to blame for the problems of this world.

Sometimes, pride can help your self-esteem.

But, really.

When people turn to worldly things,

And forget about God,

That's when bad things happen.

When people get a little too puffed-up,

When they turn their backs on God,

When they turn to the world to give them,

Power,

Money,

Love,

That's when it goes too far.

Take a look around you.

Look at different people.

Can you tell if their pride has gone too far?

Or are they still back to earth,

And don't beg the world to give them all the answers?

Because really,

Where are we without God?

We are nowhere.
