This is my goodbye to the last day of last year
Next year is not going to be like the other years
Despite having bad events, I knew my last days are near

My New Years Resolution isn't going to be promised like I wanted to
For I have cherished good memories with people
Before saying goodbye to that last year,
I know that people's lives won't last

People may say bad things to bring me down
But there's no way that they will take my crown
I'll make sure that I will send a flood
So that I'll make those words drown

Into my realization, I have changed years ago
My looks will get on people's hooks
But my personality will never change
Because I know that I'm being myself

My New Year Resolution  is to be myself
Because I know that I can be accepted for who I am
No matter the looks nor my bad sides
I can be whatever I want to be

Author note: This is what I actually want to do for my New Years Day since I don't really fulfill my promises but that resolution is going to be what I want to do in the future(I hope...I'm not confident...).Every New Year's Day, everyone has to make a New Years Resolution but sometimes, these promises are broken due to bad events such as Alcohol and Drugs(which is currently happening right now...) but I want you, as a reader, to know that there will be new changes even thought you don't see it.Not everything will go the way you wanted but there's some potential that I can see in you.Just so you know, we can make the most of our lives by making memories cherished and memorable.Thanks for reading and have a nice day/night.Happy New Years Day!!!!!!💥🎆🎁🎉
