I hold back my tears
So that when im asked
"Are you ok?"
I can lie & say
"Yes im alright"
Just so i can go home
& cry silently till i fall asleep
I dont want people to worry about me
I may not be ok
But I rather seem ok
So Im not a bother
& to help others deal with stuff like me
Its rare im ok
But when i am
You'll see a real smile
& some tears of joy
Knowing i have people who care about me
Makes me happy enough
I cant ask for more than that
So ill hide my sorrows with a false smile
Just so i dont disappoint you again
