When I'm sad
I'm smile just to hide it
When I cry
I hold laugh to hold it back
When I'm scared
I'm tell a joke to shake it off
When someone asks if I'm alright
I try to hide that I'm not ok
When it gets to hard to hold it all in
I cry silently to myself
I don't want to be a burden
But that's all I ever seem to be
But to others I guess I'm not
I try my best to cheer up
But alone I can not
Friends are all I need for that
They make me laugh
They make me smile
When I am with them
Anything is possible
When I'm alone
I can ask them to talk
I never want to be alone
So I'm glad to have friends

I may hide that I'm not ok
