Summary: It all happened in one instance.
Yuu had stabbed Mika.......
But he hadn't activated the curse, and gurren wasnt too pleased with this.
Yuu had been used to the 'friendly' teasing of Gurren and his team, but this.... was the most hostile he has ever seen them be.
Having had enough Yuu calls out to Mika. who makes him an offer.......

Yuu POV (sorta)

Yuu gazed at the face of the vampire he just impaled with Asuramaru. When he saw who the vampire was, he instantly felt remorse. he recognized this vampire, it was Mika.

"Y-Yuu-chan." Mika squeaked.

"What are you doing? Activate the curse already!" Guren yelled.

"Yuu! Kill that thing already!" Yuu heard from behind him.

He saw Mika jump away from him, and then land next to a silver haired noble. He recognized the noble however. it was the same one who had slaughtered his entire family. Yuu fell to his knees in shock. It couldn't be Mika. He died...didn't he?

"What were you doing?! You had that blood sucker right where you wanted him!" Kimizuki shouted as he punched Yuu on the top of his head.

"I-I can't kill him. If that's who I think it is, my family is with the vampires." Yuu said in a shaky voice.

"Who cares? If he's a vampire he's an enemy. You'd be doing him a favor by killing him." Mitsuba yelled.

"Still. Let me be sure. Mika, is that you? Please tell me it is." Yuu asked desperately.

Yuu was met with a nod, and a very happy smile from the boy he'd thought he had lost. Yuu had smiled in return, the smile however soon faded as a grimace made its way onto Mika's face.

"Yuu-chan, please hear me out. The humans are using you." Mika said as he started walking over, but stopped a third of the way.

"What?! Mika that's insane! How could they be using me? Their my friends, they'd never do that." Yuu shouted out hurt.

"I'll explain later. Please come with me." Mika pleaded.

"Funny! As if Yuu would be so stupid as to join the vampires. He's dumb but not that dumb." Kimizuki said.

"He's right. As stupid as he is, he wouldn't betray his friends." Mitsuba stated.

"that's enough you two! Yes Yuu has his screw ups, but now isn't the time!" shinoa yelled/ scolded the two team members.

"From what I heard, you just think of him as an idiot. Don't try and deny it, you just gave us the proof." Ferid said rather boredly .

"Your so called 'friends' are trying to trick you." Mika called.

It was quiet for a moment until somebody spoke up.

"I'm getting sick of you vampire. The moron is staying put!" Guren yelled.

so far Yoichi hadn't said anything. why wasn't he sticking up for me!? Yoichi usually does....so why not now? You though as he began to look between his team and Mika's pleading eyes.

"Enough chit-chat we have vampires to tak-Hayakuya get back here! Where the hell are you going you idiot!" Gurren yelled the last parts.

Yuu was running full speed, he rammed/tackled Mika into a hug, toppling both of them over and onto the ground.

"Baka Yuu! What are you doing! Your not supposed to hug the enemy!" Mitsuba yelled.

"Baka Yuu! Your not supposed to hug the enemy!" Mitsuba yelled/scolded.

'Y-Yuu chan. please get off me. your squishing me!" Mika called out to him.

"you idiot what the hell are you doing!? get over here! I don't want to see you wind up dead! your a valuable asset!" Gurren yelled.

"I don't care what I am! If you needed me you would be sticking up for me and not insulting me or my family! I told you my family is with the vampires!" Yuu snapped back.

"You have a new family now! You have us! forget about one silly vampire! your our friend! we're loyal to you! aren't you the same?" Yoichi called out.

He hadn't spoken until now. It seems he had betrayed his trust too. they had all betrayed him. they lost all loyalty he gave to them and he in turn had lost theirs. now a new loyalty would be forged. a loyalty that would last for eternity. a loyalty to his real family. Yuu nuzzled into the hug pinning Mika farther to the ground.

"I told you! My family is with the vampires. All of them! I know what I said before..... but they've been more loyal than any of you ever have, except Ferid. He's a bastard!" Yuu shot back.

they all had shocked and horrified faces. how could Yuu do this to them!? what had they ever done beside 'friendly' teasing? had they crossed a line this time? Yes. Yes they had. They had insulted Mika. that Yuu would never forgive.

"Yuu chan, will you come back with us? Nod once for yes, twice for no" Mika whispered.

Yuu thought and then nodded once. With that Mika picked him up bridal style. the two boys looked over to Ferid.

"Don't worry about the little lambs we'll take care of them. We can stick them with the other livestock." Ferid said looking to Crowley, Horn and Belle.

Mika took off toward the location of Krul. Once had found her he put Yuu down and stood in front of her to speak.

"Mika there better be damn good reason there's a demon army member here!" Krul shouted.

Mika nodded and proceeded to speak. "Krul I'd like permission for Yuu to join our ranks."

Yuu not having been asked before hand was shocked but didn't display his emotions. he watched krul simply nod.

"I want you to ask Ferid however to sire him. i have you to watch over, and Ferid has no one so he can have some responsibility here." Krul said as she pointed for them to leave.

Mika nodded picked Yuu up and ran back to Ferid. Neither of the two wanted Ferid near Yuu but Krul said Ferid so Ferid it is. Mika explained the situation to Ferid and he accepted. Ferid still had a little bit of the blood he used to sire Crowley. Mika didn't know it but Ferid planned to use it. Ferid would have to mix some of his own into it to get the adequate amount. but it would still do what Ferid wanted. As long as he wasn't caught that is.

Ferid pulled out the half full vial of blood. He mixed a small amount of his own into it and capped the vial.  Saito did say emergency use, and this was an emergency. for Ferid anyway.

Ferid handed the glass vial to Yuu. Yuu gently took the vial in his hands. He spent a few minutes staring at it before deciding now or never.

"There's no going back now." with that said Yuu uncorked the bottle.

Yuu drank the contents of the vial. Mika had him lying down out of sight while Yuu got used the the changes. while Yuu was lying down, Ferid had told him (via mind link) of what he had done. since Yuu would be imprisioned along with Ferid he decided he woudn't tell anyone. Ferid might tell mika on his own, so Yuu would wait until then. Ferid was entirely responsible for Yuu now. Although Saito would still be classified as his sire. (explained in the end note)

After his thoughts were in order, Yuu told Mika to go join in the fight so it wouldn't get suspicious. Mika headed back to fight making sure Yuu was still out of sight. Meanwhile the moon demon company was still trying to fight back the vampires and search for yuu.

"This is all your fault Kimizuki! And yours Mitsuba! He wouldn't have been taken if you wouldn't have pushed him away with your 'teasing'!" Shinoa shouted.

The other two just pout and continue to battle. So far they haven't noticed Yuu tucked away from sight. They continued to rage on in the heat of battle as seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours.

night had fallen and Yuu was waking up. He wasn't sure when he had fallen asleep but none one else had noticed either. Yuu groggily stood on his feet. Yuu looked down and noticed it was easier to see in the dark. he also noticed mika had put him in a vampire army uniform. Yoichi not knowing it was Yuu fired an arrow at him. Yuu dodged it and picked it up.

"Oi Yoichi! Mind not trying to hit me with arrows?" Yuu called out.

"Oh Yuu-chan is back! Sorry Yuu-chan!" yoichi called.

"Everyone listen up! We're going to have to retreat! Grab Yuu and lets go!" Gurren sternly yelled.

Yuu knew the others couldn't see in the dark as well as the vampires could, so they'd most likely have to follow Yuu's voice. that gave him some time. he could keep them thinking he'd been captured. this would also let him surprise Mitsuba and Kimizuki, who just happened to be caught. Shinoa, Yoichi, Gurren and Shinya. gurren looked over to the others being loaded onto the vampire planes.

"Dammit Shinya! why did you have to go and get caught! the Hiragi's are gonna kill me!" gurren yelled at him.

shinya smiled and replied."I'll deal with my adoptive brother don't you worry!"

Meanwhile Yuu was getting used to things. He looked over as Krul called him over to Mika and herself.

"Mika and Yuu, please go gaurd the livestock with crowley." she said then walked away.

Mika nodded and led Yuu to the plane. mika sat with crowley while yuu stood, away from them and his former life.

"Yuu-chan your okay!" Yoichi called after him.

"Yeah i'm fine!' he called back rather boredly.

"Yuu-chan if you need to eat Krul said to go ahead! since you don't have any viles." Ferid called to him (via mind link again.)

Yuu sent him and okay and whispered to Mika. it was then his former companions spotted his outfit. They all sat in shock as Mika nodded to Yuu.

"Yuu why are you in a vampire uniform!?" Shinoa called to him.

He looked through the group and decided Kimizuki would be his snack for now. he walked over to Kimizuki, and picked him up by the collar. he moved the fabric back and bit him. he felt it, as his eyes turned from vibrant emerald green to a dark rich crimson red. Yuu had almost drained him by accident, before he dropped him again.

"That was for insulting me and my family, hope you like your new life. livestock." Yuu said and went to sit between Crowley and Mika.

End Notes: The reason I had Ferid use this method of siring Yuu is because I want Yuu to be level seven in Progenitor ranks. Just like I'm going to have Mika be a level 9 rank. (Mika should be a round level 8-9 anyway. )

How the siring ranks work:
Progenitor 2 creates progenitor 7. (Confirmed in cannon)
Progenitor seven creates progenitor 13 (confirmed in cannon)
Progenitor 3 creates progenitor 9 (or 8) (not confirmed/ MY THEORY)
That's all I got so far.

Now i will explain Saito being classified as Yuu's sire. since there was more of Saito's blood than Ferid's,  Saito is considered his sire. Ferid has a mind link with him a a partial sire.  so Yuu has a seventh progenitor rank but also has a sire if his was to die. he is ranked base on his main sire (Saito).
