Beach Painting
So, I am in no way a painter. I like painting, it's soothing and zen and all that shit, but I'm not good at it. However, I have a friend who had his birthday back in June (this is the boy going to boot camp soon and I'm going to write letters to), and I wanted to make him something for his birthday. I remember one of the first conversations we had at the beginning of quarantine, he and I were talking about sunrises and sunsets, and how he wanted to move to the beach. I sent him some beach pictures from my vacation the previous year. So anyway, I decided to make him a sunset beach painting for his birthday. Only thing was, it was the best thing I'd ever made. I didn't want to be selfish, but I also really wanted to keep the painting. My solution? I made a second copy of the painting, and am gifting him the better version when I finally see him again (he's seen it, I just haven't given it to him yet).
SO ANYWAY. This is the version I'm keeping (remember, I didn't say it was good).
SO YEAH.
Anyway, go check out my previous drawings and the finale of Chapter 9 on Second Chances. IS ANYONE GONNA SEE THIS TODAY, GUESS WE'LL SEE.
