Despite his appearance, Dane is the biggest sweetheart ever. He probably does not have a bad bone in his body, never wanting to hurt those he cares about. He can be a bit insecure at times, but he doesn't let others see it. He is kind of guy that would hide his pain and emotions behind a cheeky smile, never wanting to worry others. He acts confident, even though he is anything but. He's known to be really blunt which makes him seem like a jerk, even though he's not. Sometimes, he can be a cheeky little goofball, but not a lot, never wanting to open up to people for then to see the real him. He is pretty laid back. Some may even say he's lazy, but he's still a really good guy. He's compassionate and will always stand up for what he believes in. He's the type of guy that would chain himself to a building to save it from being torn down. He has major trust issues, so even if he's comfortable around you it doesn't mean he exactly likes you. He needs to feel as if you are worth having close to his heart. He will always stand up to protect the ones he loves. Always. He would step in front of a bullet for the people he let's in.

Dane, from a young age, had a shïtty life. His parents were abusive and he nearly died for the amount of shït they would put him through. But then, when he was eleven, he was put into foster care. It was alright. He didn't get put into a lot of homes, but he still never liked it. He never felt like he belonged. So he ran away when he was fifteen and he's never been back since.
A few days after, he had a family friend held him get a house and he's been living alone ever since. Until he met his kids.
