Okay guys. I am having some troubles. How do you know when a guy if flirting with you?

Because there's this guy in my History class who always gets my notebook for me whenever I walk in. He says some jokes to me and always helps me out. Like no matter what he's doing he will help me out. Then when I text him I actually texted him an hour ago he responds quickly and when I asked him to give me a topic to test out my music skills. He gave me Alone, break up and the last one was LOVE! LOVE! Then he said each one was amazing and I said "I just type what comes to mind" an then he said "What comes to mind to you is amazing!" I was like OMG! And then when I said I don't get a summer evacuate of things he said "I wish I could spend the summer with you" I didn't know what he meant by that! And when he has to leave he said "Hey, I would like to talk to you tomorrow if your free." And I said yes. So what does all of this mean? How do you know when a guy is flirting with you? HELP MEH PLEASE!!!
