Me: *sighs contentedly*

Jimmy John:  You reading that book with the elves in it again?

Me:  Shhhhh... I'm on a Keefoster tour.

Mr. X:  A what?

Me:  ...

Also me:  Do I know you?

Simpleton:  Um... yeah?  We've been friends for years!

Me:  *whispers* liar

Foolish Freddy: Wha— did you just call me a liar?

Me: I'm not friends with people who insult my precious!

Normal Nancy: But—

Me: MY PRECIOUS!!!  *strokes KotLC's spine*

Persistent Percy:  We've been friends for—

Me: *screams*

Terrified Terry: WHAT?

Me: *shoves them on the ground and lifts book threateningly*

Scared Scrat: PLEASE DON'T HIT ME WITH THAT!  IT'S RIDICULOUSLY THICK!

Me:  IT IS GLORIOUSLY THICK!  *deep breath* and don't worry. I won't hit you with my precious.  *whispers* It's too good for you.

Me again:  *kicks them and storms out*
