+ Characters

Acantha: She is a really amazing character. I like the facet of realism that you provided her character by letting her scoff at the 'peasants'. She may be the heroine of the story but that does not mean she does not have faults of her own. Even if it is merely her sense of self-importance.

Acanthus: Up until the end of the story, the world's greatest douchebag. Of course, benefit of doubt will be given to him since I have a feeling there is more to it than what you have shown us.

Lance: Okay...... He is creepy. I don't know why I felt that but he just is. Though I have to wonder how come Acantha is so comfortable around him.

The other array of characters are also very fascinating though they haven't yet been introduced in detail. I am looking forward to seeing them.

+ Chapters

Length: Not bad.

Grammar, etc: Nearly perfect. Couldn't spot any obvious mistakes and the sentence structures seem to be flawless.

General:

I love the dynamics between the two siblings. At least, in the first chapter. Then Acanthus turns into the world's greatest douchebag and the only thing I want to do is to punch him.

The only bigger douchebag and jerk seems to be her father.

The pace is set just right and it flows smoothly.

I like the added element of mystery that makes me eager to know how does that guy fit into this.

+ Conclusion

There is a rich of everything in this story and it is really well written. Anyone who likes a strong female protagonist in middle of saving a kingdom should check out this book.
