Again, simple but effective. A bit common but not a big problem.

+Summary
It can be made a lot better.
A mysterious death.
A mutilated rabbit.
The cases keep piling up and all it takes are unwanted visitors and spooked occupiers for it to get out of hand.
Something like this that piques the interest of the people.
Rating: 6/10
+ Plot
Mystery plots are always a pleasure to read because even if the plot is same, the killer never is. The reason for killing never is the same.
Rating: 8/10
+ Chapters
Length: Fine
Grammar, sentence structure: These need a little work. Not too bad but a bit over the top sentences like I pointed out in the start.
General:
The part where Amelia has her accident, it feels very rushed. And you also jump P.O.v from her to the other detective. That's a bit sloppy. Maybe a line break or something similar can give a distinction.
My main problem was that it was kind of confusing.
Especially the part where Mr Earl dies. I had to read it thrice to understand what was happening. And even then I couldn't understand it completely. And I feel like Archie's reaction was unrealistic.
I mean a man just, well, you know and he doesn't even feel a bit shocked. There is no reaction from him and he thinks about Mrs. Earl being alone? That seems a bit hard to believe.
Your chapters are getting better and I like the spooky way in which you describe things. I could literally feel my flesh crawl especially during the part of the dead rabbit.
+ Conclusion
A really spooky read with appropriate mysterious elements. Not for the faint hearted. A bit of gore and mutilation so beware.
