Summary:

Tessa Daniels is a witch. At least that's what the sign outside her magic shop reads. Truth is she never inherited the powers her mother had. Still, she needs to make money and armed with her mother's potions, a flare for illusion, and some seed money from the local gang, she intends to keep her mother's shop afloat. Until the day the local gang comes to collect her debt.

Desperate to pay off the debt, she jumps at the chance to help Ella, a young maid, who comes looking for her services. But when Ella is murdered at the prince's ball, the detective in charge of the case thinks Tessa is hiding something.

She is. Thanks to a magical gold ring, Tessa can see Ella's ghost, and the only way to put an end to the midnight hauntings is to solve Ella's murder. With the killer on the loose, and bodies piling up, Tessa will have to join forces with the detective. But, long held secrets are about to surface, and the killer may be closer than any one of them could imagine.

Very, very unique. I have seen/read about Princess turning evil, or something alone that lines but I have never seen a Princess being killed and the story turned into a murder mystery. It has got me excited!

I love them. All of them.

You write their descriptions and dialouges so naturally that they seem so real. Tessa is very relatable and though normally someone with Ella's character would have irritated me, I actually like her.

Of course, Argus sounds like the stereotypical gangster kind of person but he too caught my interest.

You created a really wide array of fascinating characters and I can honestly say I can't wait to read more about them.

Grammar, etc: To be honest, I was so drawn into the plot that I wasn't concentrating on this. But there were no glaringly obvious errors.

General:

Damn! I couldn't find anything to point out. The story's grammar and sentence structures are flawless and does its purpose of drawing the readers in.

Except for the fact that maybe your story would suit more in the Mystery/Thriller category than Adventure?

The plot is intriguing and unique; a mixture of two of my most favourite things. Who doesn't like a good murder?

Well, I guess you can understand yourself how much I adored your story.

There was nothing over the top or unrealistic and I was totally sucked into it.

I am being completely honest when I say that I can't wait for an update.
