Doctor What the Hell is Wrong With Me?
The Doctor flicked a switch and smiled as the TARDIS console lit up.
"There we go, Sexy." He smiled and twisted his bow tie proudly.
"Doctor, please, you're embarrassing me." A seductive voice grinned from behind him.
"Jack?"
"Yeah. I'm back." Jack stepped forward and leaned against the TARDIS console, his hand between a switch that turned the heat off in the library and a dial that controlled the chlorine levels in the swimming pool.
"That's great!" The doctor moved in and gave Jack a tight hug.
They pulled away moments later and Jack's smile increased.
"Was that a banana in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
"Actually it's a wrench." The Doctor removed the metal tool and held it up.
Jack laughed.
"So, you and Alonso, did it work out?"
Jack shook his head. "He was a nice guy, but it was bad timing."
"How so?" The Doctor flicked another switch and pressed a button. The TARDIS whirred.
"There was this guy..." Jack trailed off.
"What was his name?" The Doctor urged.
"Ianto." Jack said it with a flair. "Ianto Jones."
"So are you still with him?" The Doctor asked.
"No. He died shortly before you sent me Alonso."
The Doctor gave Jack another hug. "I get what you're feeling." It wasn't a lie. The Doctor had lost so many companions.
Jack sniffled and the Doctor realized it was the first time he had heard the Captain cry.
"There, there." The Doctor patted his back, not sure what else to do.
"Oh look! Something Hetalia didn't hijack for once."
Italy appears behind me, an adorable grin on his face.
"Pasta!" He shouts with glee.
"This is Kraft Dinner, dude." I look down at the dish in puzzlement.
"It's still technically pasta." England points out.
I want to make a cooking joke but I don't know if I'm close enough to England to tease him, so I decide against it.
"But do you want it?" Italy asks, nudging the dish closer.
"No thanks. I'm not really in a Kraft Diner mood right now." I politely nudge the food away.
"I've got some poutine cooking at the moment." Canada peeks over Kumajiro's head shyly.
"That I could go for." I grin at Canada who looks shocked.
"You noticed me?"
"Well duh. I'm walking on you, idiot." I laugh and he laughs back.
"Right then. Off we go, eh?" Canada climbs on Kuma's back and holds out his hand to me. I take it and sit up behind him.
"Onward to the parliament building!" I shout with great drama.
"That's not where we're going but whatever." Canada sighs.
We ride off down the street, my crazy self not even wondering why all these fictional characters are suddenly real.
