(Based on the Mystery Skulls Animated videos by MysteryBen27 on YouTube)

(Will likely be a series of one-hots rather than a book)

~ Basically the music videos but it's the Pack instead with slight changes (don't have to watch those, I'll be describing them below in the plot).

Characters:

Rob (Arthur)

~ Reluctant co-founder of the Mystery Skulls ghost investigation team.

~ Usually calm and collected, but at times can be quite nervous and jittery. also very stressed-out.

~ A tinkerer, having a workshop at home with plenty of unfinished projects.

~ Founded the group with Lachlan after the both of them discovered a ghost in an abandoned mansion in their home town and managed to return it to the afterlife.

~ Was once possesed by Brandon, an evil demon, who used Rob's jealousy of Lachlan to control him and kill Lachlan.

~ He was freed when Preston tore off his arm (where he was possessed from).

~ Rob has no recollection of this event.

~ Rob has a robotic arm in place of his missing one (which he built himself).

~ Rob believes that he lost it in an accident in his workshop.

~ He still searches for Lachlan on the groups travels and ghost hunts, still believing him to be alive.

~ Sometimes suffers from random migraines as an after effect to being possessed for so long, and sometimes during these, he sees things...

Lachlan (Lewis)

~ Founder and former leader of the Mystery Skulls team.

~ As a human, he was very cautious and (poorly) tried to hide his nervousness, despite him being leader. He was very committed to his job and friends.

~ Killed by a possessed Rob while the group was investigating a cave rumored to be the home of a band of ghosts terrorizing a nearby town, being pushed off of a high-up ledge into a bed of cave crystals (see Lewis' death is "Ghost").

~ He became a ghost confined in a mansion nearby the cave.

~ He is awoken again when the Mystery Skulls enter his mansion after their car broke down.

~ His desire for revenge drives him to want to kill Rob for murdering him (unaware of his possession). He also wants to reunite with Vikk and Preston.

~ He is often accompanied by Mitch and Jerome, a pair of spirits who were killed in the mansion that Lachlan haunts (takes place of the Deadbeats).

Vikk (Vivi)

~ Third person to join the Mystery Skulls team, joining after a phantom haunting the bookstore where he worked almost killed him, Rob and Lachlan saving his life.

~ The cynical thinker of the group.

~ Can sometimes sense ghosts and spirits, but only if they have a particularly strong presence. He isn't fully aware of this power, and as a result, can never explain the weird feeling he gets when he's around Preston.

~ Witnessed Lachlan's death from below, but his memories were altered so that he forgot about it.

~ Doesn't really remember Lachlan, there being many gaps in his memory (years of memories of Lachlan wiped from his head) (more like edited out, as he still remembers the events, just without Lachlan in them).

~ He sometimes has dreams of these memories in full restoration, but only remembers them as only that. Dreams.

~ Seeks to find out the identity of the person in his dreams and fix the gaps in his memory.

Preston (Mystery)

~ Fourth and final person to join the Mystery Skulls team.

~ Seems like a positive person and a goofball on the outside, but he is oftentimes stressed and concerned for the rest of the group, often in deep thought.

~ Like Vikk, he can sense ghosts and supernatural beings, but it is stronger, and he is aware of the ability.

~ Though he usually takes the form of one, Preston isn't human. He is actually a demon (a kitsune; a good one though).

~ The others believe him to be human, unaware of his supernatural origin.

~ At the time of joining the group, Preston was being hunted by Brandon (who possessed Rob), and his only motive for joining the group was so that they could help rid him of Brandon. He later grew very fond of the group and almost completely forgot about his original motive. He especially feels close to Rob.

~ After Lachlan's death, Preston realized that Brandon, and fights Rob/Brandon, tearing off his arm to free him.

~ Feeling responsible for dragging his friends into his battle with Brandon and getting Lachlan killed,

Preston removed the memories of the incident from both Rob and Vikk's minds, being forced to remove Lachlan entirely from a traumatized Vikk's head (literally the only way to make him better). Finally, he pledged to keep Rob and Vikk safe from any danger during their travels, becoming a sort of guardian.

~ He

still keeps his demon-hood a secret, as well as Brandon's identity, as he believes they will be safer that way.

~ However

, Rob's migraines sometimes enable him to see Preston's demon form even when he isn't transformed, but he is usually able to brush it off to Rob as him seeing things.

~ The

only member of the group who is aware of Lachlan being a ghost, and tries to steer Rob and Vikk from every finding out about it.

~ The rest of it basically follows the videos, with the additional chapters of other ghost hunts and such.
