Main Characters: Preston and Simon

Summary (since I already have one):

Simon is a vampire.

He has been for about a year, bitten by another vampire​ one night on his way back to the Sidemen house. He is only a fledgling, since he has never I drank human blood. However, super strength, super speed, and invisibility are still available to him, though not as strong as a full vampire's powers. The only person who knows about this is JJ, who caught him one night in his room drinking blood from a dead animal (he refuses to drink from a human). Although he isn't affected to much by the sunlight, Simon had to always avoid physical contact with people, his skin cold like that of a corpse. Simon is afraid of hurting his friends, and there have been multiple occasions when his blood lust almost led to bad things... Simon hates what he is, and is always looking for a cure, but his YouTube channel keeps him busy enough to make that a second priority, and until he does find a cure, he'll have to feed on animals for a bit...

Preston is a werewolf.

He's been one for a little more than a year and a half, being bitten by a strange wolf during one of the Pack's Canada trips. But he isn't one of the romanticized versions from the movies... Preston, under the light of the full moon, involuntarily transforms into a monster, taking on the form of a savage wolf as he loses control and awareness of his actions, being reduced to a beast. The transformation isn't exactly pleasent either. It hurts...a lot. The only person who knows about this is his cousin Landon, who decided to investigate strange noises coming from Preston's office one night... Preston wants to find a cure, but never really had anytime to do so, handling his YouTube career and constantly pulling all-nighters. He constantly has to plan everything ahead of time, from trips, to events, and especially when he has friends visiting him.

From the moment that Preston and Simon met in person for the first time, they knew that something was off about one another. Simon could sense it. Preston could smell it. They found out each other's secrets soon enough. Preston wants to be friends, not believing that their curses are reasons to make them hate one another, but Simon doesn't trust Preston to not hurt any of the Sidemen, even if it wasn't Preston's fault.

A few months later, as PAX draws nearer, both of them may end up doing things that they don't want to. Because if there's one thing that sets either of them off of the deep end, it would be seeing a friend in danger...

Plot:

~ So basically everything in the summary. Simon and Preston because those two seem to have a rivalry IRL.

~ Preston got bitten when he was skiing with the pack on a Canada trip during a full moon, when he went off the trail and winds up in the forest.

~ A werewolf bites him on the shoulder and Preston runs away from it back to the others, who insist on him going to the hospital, but the wound is already mysteriously healed when they get there.

~ His first transformation is about a month later, in his office, which wrecks his computer set-up (he appears as a big wolf, basically). He breaks out of the window and runs of into the woods. He wakes up the next morning in his house, all dirty and scratched up and his clothes torn. He remembers the painful transformation from the night before, and after much debate, decides that the best thing he can do is act normal and just be careful around the full moons. (He can also transform if he chooses to whenever he wants, but doesn't often because he fears losing control of himself.)

~ He locks himself in an empty room whenever he has to transform (on full moons and occasionally the days before or after), and carefully plans when he is visiting anybody/anybody visits him, making sure that no one is with him on or around full moons. 

~ Though, because plot, he overlooks one full moon by accident, and this is when Lachlan is visiting him. 

~ Lachlan enters the office late at night to grab something only to come face to face with transformed Preston (who snarls at him before he runs off through the open door instead of attacking him).

~ When Lachlan confronts Preston about it the next day, Preston explains everything to Lachlan and tells him why he has been keeping it a secret. Preston knows that the others would understand and want to try and help him through his transformations, and that's exactly why he won't tell them, because they would be in danger of him going wild and attacking them. Lachlan agrees not to say anything.

~ He wants to find a cure for his lycanthropy, but he can never find the time with his YouTube career. Lachlan helps him research in his spare time. (To Preston's surprise, Lachlan actually thinks that him being a werewolf is badass to a certain degree.)

~ The only telltale signs of his curse when he isn't transformed is the fact that his canines are much sharper. He has to also be careful about his emotions, because if he is angry or under too much stress, he can partially transform (usually unwillingly). The usual first signs of this are his eyes turning amber and his nails sharpening into claws.

~ On the other hand, there's Simon, who is a vampire.

~ He was bitten on a late night when he investigated a strange sound from the side of the Sidemen house, where he was attacked.

~ He woke up in his own blood and at first he doesn't realize that anything is wrong, but when he goes into the bathroom, he is shocked to see the bite marks in his neck. He realizes instantly what happened and checks himself for a pulse, but is unable to find any. He, of course, freaks out.

~ He is more pale then usual, and his skin  is clammy and cold, and he has retractable fangs that come out when he feeds.

~ He decides that the other Sidemen can't know about him, as he doesn't want his friends to be afraid of him. 

~ Simon relies on hunting small animals (squirrels, birds, etc.) to quench his need for blood. He is disgusted by it, but when he got bitten, he went crazy in his room because he wasn't feeding, and he was about ready to attack his friends. Even after, just the sight of blood makes him hungry.

~ He is only a fledgling, having not tasted human blood, therefore, he doesn't have access to full vampire powers. He can't turn invisible or turn into a bat, but sunlight doesn't hurt him, and he can still be seen in mirrors and cameras. He is, however, stronger and (slightly) faster. He is also presumably unable to feel pain.

~ But of course, because plot, he gets caught eating a dead animal in his room by JJ. 

~ JJ's starts screaming and Simon screams and everyone is screaming (but it was only them in the house so it was fine).

~ After they both calm down, Simon explains the situation and JJ tells him that he won't tell the others, because he knows that they would have freaking heart attacks, though he tells Simon that they wouldn't look at him any differently (he assures Simon that he doesn't think so).

~ JJ occasionally pokes bat-related jokes at Simon, even when the others are around, and Simon hates it. ("Wow Simon, you have bat breath!" "I guess you've got to watch your batitude!")

~ Simon has to be careful that his friends don't touch him, as they would feel his cold skin. If he doesn't feed, his eyes also turn red and he grows black claws.

~ When Preston and Simon first meet each other in person, they knew that something was off about each other.

~ Preston thinks that he smells a bit like a dead body (you know, enhanced senses and stuff), and Simon just feels an off air about him, and notices that he kind of smells like a dog (also enhanced senses).

~ They confront each other about it, and are shocked about them both being monsters. 

~ Preston is chill about it, and bringing up the classic rivalry between vampires and werewolves (a blood feud, if you will), doesn't think that it should stop them from being friends. Simon however, thinks the opposite.

~ He doesn't think that Preston will always be able to contain himself on the full moons, regardless of what he says. He worries that he will completely lose it and attack either one of the Pack members or one of the Sidemen, most of his concern directed towards Vikk, who is a member of both groups.

~ Preston is hurt by the accusation and tries not to show it. The conversation ends with the two telling each other that they will keep each other's secrets, and Simon hisses a warning to Preston not to hurt his friends unless he wanted to answer to him.

~ Preston keeps his word and doesn't tell Lachlan, but Simon ends up telling JJ a bit later about Preston.

~ A few months later, there is a huge convention where both the Sidemen and Pack are attending, and to Vikk's request, they decide to do a collaboration and hold a panel together at the convention, putting Preston and Simon together again.

~ Preston is uneasy being at the convention, as it was cutting it close to the full moon, but he knew that this wasn't an event he would miss.

~ The others notice Preston and Simon acting strange, but they don't question it. Lachlan assumes that Preston is just uneasy because of the full moon, and JJ assumes that Simon was uncomfortable around Preston.

~ It's the day of the convention, and the panel goes great, the SidePack hanging out afterwards in a room backstage. 

~ Simon isn't enjoying himself, having not eaten in a while and feeling his vampire side wanting to take over and attack his friends. He thinks of what he said to Preston and decides that he wouldn't lose control like him. He brushes the feeling off.

~ At one point, everyone leaves the room, going to get stuff to clean up the backstage area while Simon and Rob stay behind, neither of them feeling well.

~ While they're walking, JJ realizes that Simon hadn't eaten in a few days, and realizes that him acting weird was a sign that he was about to lose it.

~ Reluctantly, JJ pulls Preston to the side and frantically tells Preston the situation.

~ Preston, remembering that Rob, his best friend, is alone with Simon, he frantically runs back to the room, ignoring the strange looks that the others give him as he runs, JJ yelling for him to hurry. Realizing that something is wrong, Lachlan thinks that Preston is about to turn, and tries his best to distract the others, JJ helping as well.

~ Preston starts to transform as he is running, overwhelmed with fear and panic and stress, but doesn't try to fight against it. He just begs that he will be able to control himself.

~ Backstage, Simon, no longer in control, advances towards Rob, who had his back turned to him, completely unaware of the vampire about to feed on him.

~ Preston arrives just in time, and now fully transformed, he lets out a loud howl of warning that gets both Simon and Rob's attention, Rob looking at Simon (who was looking very vampire-like at that moment) and realizing that he was about to be attacked by a fudging vampire.

~ With an inhuman scream, Simon launches himself at Preston and the two brawl it out.A hungry vampire v.s. a protective werewolf.

~ Preston eventually wins, and hurls Simon across the room away from Rob, who was admittedly freaking out at seeing a giant wolf attack his friend, who was about to attack him. He is intimidated by the wolf, but he is not afraid. After all, the wolf did just protect him from a crazy vampire, and... was it giving him a concerned look?

~ At that moment, the Sidemen and the Pack enter the room, Lachlan and JJ close behind. They see Preston standing  by Rob, but not noticing that it is Preston, they start yelling for Rob to get away from him. 

~ Preston, who's wolfish instincts are starting to take over a bit, being dazed and confused and covered in scratches and bruises, can't tell the others from friend or foe, and starts to bark and growl at them. No one was going to come near his friend.

~ Rob however, takes attention to the clothes that the wolf is wearing, and though it is very torn-up, he recognizes them as the same clothes that Preston was wearing before. He realizes that the wolf is Preston.

~ "... Preston?"

~ The wolf (not in his right mind at the moment), hearing Rob, is confused, and before he can do anything, Rob reaches up and hugs him around the neck. This snaps Preston out of it, and upon realizing that he had almost attacked his friends, he starts to freak out, but Rob keeps a hold of him, trying to calm him down. Preston changes back while Rob is holding him, comforted by his presence. 

~ "Rob... Thank you."                        (SO MUCH FLUFF)

~ But Preston realizes that all of the others know about his secret, and in a moment of panic, tries to run away, but he is stopped by Lachlan and Rob, who reassured him that everythign was okay. 

~ I kind of don't know where this story goes form this point, but what I do know is that Preston and Simon are probably cured.

~ One idea I had was for the SidePack to go back to where Preston was attacked to try and find the one who bit him. They would eventually find this other werewolf, who is an insane alpha who is obsessed with having a strong pack, though Preston is the only one who he has bitten who survived.

~ I was thinking that one of the others would get bitten (the alpha wants more members in his 'pack'), further driving Simon and Preston to stop the alpha and break the curse.

~ The main candidates for this route would be Vikk, Lachlan (probably him), and Josh.

~ This would likely be similar for how Simon is cured. 

~ Also insert a super fluffy moment where Preston is talking to  Rob and Lachlan and says that the Pack are basically his actual "wolf" pack and awwwwwwwwwww

~That's basically what I've got for this story. 

~ I know that Simon  seems like the antagonist, BUT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. I just couldn't think of more stuff for him at the moment. If I were to write the story, it would really be split 50/50 with Preston and Simon.
