No this is not an M.A.P., it's an ACTUAL map—

So I made this for my good ol' friend UltimateFanWing , and her story about her original characters called "dreki." Dreki is the Icelandic word for dragon, and henceforth the rest of the names for specific types of dreki are also Icelandic. The series revolves around a young Vinddreki prince named Constellation who's forced to become king after his father's sudden death. It's a super good book, and is even being made into a series! (It is not complete yet though.) And so I, with my love of Map-making, decided I would make a map of it! I did ask for permission and have gotten clarification of all the different parts.

I have 5 versions of this map: one with waves, one without waves, an outline, one with the kingdoms displayed, and one for notes. (You can choose which to use Ultimate. The outline is if you'd like to do your own coloring ;)) It is in the shape of a wingless and limbless dreki (which I mean only the leaders have wings soooo...). Also, there are no places named on the map, which is so that Ultimate may come up with her own names for things.

Here is a description of the map (using the notes map)

1. This one has a lot of parts. First of all, this region has the Elddreki castle, which is made out of obsidian and cobblestone so that it can withstand the intense heat of the lava that flows past it, and from eruptions. The "lake" it is by is a lava lake, which also flows into the sea. The runny lava from the eye lake comes from the surround shield volcanoes that flows into the lake. The teeth of the dragon are active composite volcanoes, with a few cinder cone volcanoes on the bottom jaw. In the whole area, you have a wasteland!

2. Now that the big chunk is over, I can FINALLY start on something else. The second area is the dragons horn. It is a bunch of long-dormant volcanoes. It forms the border between the Elddreki and Ja'ardreki.

3. This is a small, lush tropical forest on the Elddreki land. It formed due to the volcanoes surrounding the area, which produce very good soil for plant life.

4. This island is the largest island in it's area (5). It holds the purple, sandcastle-looking S'jordreki castle, and a small forest to the west (wait now  I'm just realizing that I forgot to add a compass rose—)

5. The fifth region is a cluster of islands belonging to the S'jordreki. They are the fire/lightning/whateverelementyouprefer that emanates from the mouth of the dreki.

6. This is something I made up completely by myself (I guess I made most of the rest but yeah), so it doesn't have to be official. It's a long shoreline, which is neutral territory amongst all the tribes, bordering every bit of territory, so that (for an example) the Eldingardreki don't get mad about trespassing Vinddreki who are just trying to go to visit the Elddreki (similar to the lakeshore in warriors.)

7. A large generic forest, which is the above ground area for Ja'ardreki. It is composed of oaks, aspens, birch, maples, etc (pretty much ThunderClan and SkyClan territory trees). The center clearing is the supposed area of the Ja'ardreki castle.

8. A spiky, mountainous area with little to no vegetation and LOTS of thunderstorms. This is the home territory of the Eldingardreki, the lightning dragons.

9. At the very top of the eighth area, you can see the mountain-like castle of the Eldingardreki. It was requested to be bright, so that's what it is (I hope O~O)!

10. A small, SkyClan/ ThunderClan like forest by a lake. It belongs to the Vinddreki.

11. This is just a plains area.

12.  These are the lush mountains of the Vinddreki! They are plant filled, and have tons of animals! They have flattish tops, which makes them stand out from the other mountains. They are more so giant hills I guess XD

13. This is the light blue castle of the Vinddreki. It is y'all and spindly, and built into the side of 2 mountains (sorry if you wanted it floating above the clouds, I just couldn't find a way to make it work :/)

14. Here lies a lake that flows northward into the ocean. It is a border between the Vinddreki and Eldingardreki.

15. A bay/sea (to be decided by the almighty Ultimate) with a few miscellaneous islands. It is owned by the S'jordreki.

16. Another shore! It doesn't really have any purpose, just that it deserves a name :3

Whew! This took me a while, and though I had a whole lotta fun making it, I sure am glad to be finished! Next up is a contest entry for ultimate (which I will not be making a poster because while I would love to make one, it would also take a long time, and it's going to be worse quality than just one or two dragons. Maybe another time though, it sounds Fun! So you can put me down for Constellation and Cumulus)
