~~This is the reason why I'm bad at replying to messages~~

I'm not much of a party type of gal, but lately I've been out of my cave and actually interested in socializing. Wow, me? Socializing? That's a pretty intense tasks.

So a lot of people are celebrating their Debuts which is basically when girls step in the world of womanhood. This is where parents allow their kids to be young adults and whatnot. Basically this is a very special event for girls and that it's a tradition that should be honored.

This is my 2nd time to attend one and damn I have to say I had lots of fun. The 1st one I attended was like a trial run because my best friend was actually the one who was closed to the birthday girl and I was the plus one. So it was a chill and simple celebration. This one I actually was a very closed friend of the celebrant. It was filled with tasty nasty bitter alcohol (and by taste it wasn't even near to a sip) and dancing.

I've been so busy finding a dress to wear for the formal event, preparing for the 18 candles, and writing a spoken word poetry for the event. That's why I've been lacking in terms of replying to my messages everywhere. I also realized that my closet is lacking. First of all I don't own any pairs of heels for special occasions such as this one and the ones I own is used for mass celebrations in school. Which means I had to look for a pair that won't murder my feet.

Then I had to look for a dress which I have to say, fancy dresses are expensive and I had no idea prices are that high. The funny part was that my mom told me I was much of a grandma based from the dresses I chose. Luckily my mom is basically the "cool" one between me and her so she decided she'll be the one to choose for me. I didn't mind since I'm not much of a shopper and I had no clue how to handle the whole idea of finding the "perfect" dress.

So shoutout to those girls who has mad skills in terms of fashion.

I realized that it's actually fun to be a girly-girl. Wearing nice clothing with heels that are kind enough to not kill my feet and putting on makeup to enhance your physical beauty is actually a fun thing to do. Never in a million years that I felt super comfortable in such clothing but for some reason I did.

I'll be attending another one this Wednesday. I'm a little worn out but hey it's summer break and I guess attending parties won't hurt. I still need to go through a whole process since I need to find a specific dress for the event, so MOM please help me 😅
