The first book I'll be reviewing is the book Dilemma: Everything He's Not by Lexiluvdinos03 Question to the members :

Out of all the characters, who do you relate to and why?

Though it's not necessary for others to read the review, it to see the feedback, good and bad, and use it to improve their stories

I want you to know that the review is my honest  opinion, I am not a professional reviewer, just a person who loves reading

My brother, Ash, will be reviewing the books aswell, I thought it'd be good to have more than one person giving feedback.

Title:

Maria: 7/10

Dilemma is a very good name for the story as it tell us that there is going to be a hard choice, usually the case in a love triangle. I would have given it a higher score but the subtitle put me off.
It's too long unless you're planning on creating more books in the future, then the subtitle is the right way to go

Ash : 8/10

Well thought up  name even though it doesn't sound like a romance. I like what you did with "everything he isn't" it shows that the love interests all possess the opposite, or things that the rest doesn't have.

Cover

Maria: 7/10

Aesthetically pleasing, however it confuses me because in the Blurb it states that there are three men in the story while the cover only has two. It still shows the situation that Cora would be in when it comes to deciding, being torn between two choices.

Ash: 5/10

I personally don't like the cover because its not eye catching. It doesn't grab my attention, but I agree with Maria, it is Aesthetically pleasing.

Blurb

Maria: 8/10

You kept it short and sweet, while giving the reader the information they needed without revealing too much. Good job!

Ash : 9/10

It piques the readers Intrest with the question. Its something that always grabs my attention, I always want to find out when there's a question asked in a blurb and so that drew my attention.

Plot

Maria : 7/10

It started out slow, almost enough for the reader to drop the book, but once You get past a certain point, you can't seem to stop. It especially grabbed my attention when Cora confronted Zook. You're going the right way with it. I saw that you're trying to introduce all the characters first before getting into the actual plot, this is good. However you seem too scared to take your time. You have to remember, books are abott 30 chapters long. Take your time if you need to, write as much as you need about a situation if it's important, we don't mind reading it. You've got a good plot, a good dynamic between characters. Love triangles are  cliché  but I love that you made it interesting with adding other characters like Zook, accardi and Alistar, who I usually don't see in love triangles, these I usually find in slow burns.

Its a nice plot tho I don't usually like romance.

Characters

Maria : 10/10

I'm going to go in depth with discussing the characters because honestly, you've done them very well. You didn't only put thought into your main character, you focused alot on your side characters I see.
I'm going to start with my favorite, Oakly. You portrayed her very well, showing that she's a good, dorky and supportive friend. What I really loved was the fact that you didn't have to say Oakly didn't swear, you showed us that she doesn't swear. It adds humor to serious situations. You've made her into a real lovable person showing us her strengths, weaknesses, hobbies and interests. You showed us that she's not some 2d charaxter.
You did a very good job SHOWING us that Cora was hardworking, caring and loving. You didn't have to say "Cora is a hardworking and loving  girl" NO!
You showed us how she goes to classes tired from the previous night, punches the guy who messed with her loved ones even though he was someone who was feared. You showed us that straight after classes, she'd rush to her job and then visit her dad. Stressing over her siblings and working her ass off for them. I loved this.
I love that you made me hate Marco, which is funny because at first, I was routing for him and Cora to get together, but by the time chapter 3 came along that changed drastically.
Zook is not a flat character either, you gave him life and showed us a bit of his soft side, which I hope to see soon.
Mr accardi and Alistar, you would need to show them more often or else their characters might become flat. Other minor characters like Marley, abbey and Daniel you did a good job with them, even though they were just small side characters.
I also love that you made Jordan irresponsible and fun loving, this gives light to Cora's character too.
Overall you did a good job with all of them, you didn't only focus on the main characters and this makes it a 10/10 rating.

Ash: 10/10

There was a variety of different characters, all with their own personalities. This brought life to your book and I loved it. I just wish we could see more of accardi and Alistar, and maybe Daniel too in the future.

Grammer, flow, spelling

Maria: 8/10

I don't find alot of Grammer problems. The only thing is that you tend to use too much adjectives and You often try too hard when writing. Try not to go overboard with describing.
Big words are also uneccesary at some point, personally it drains me reading through books with boy words being used over again
Keep it simple.

Ash: 9/10

The only thing that's a problem are the uneccesary big words. Spelling was fine. Keep it simple unless you can't. Eg
If a character is a smart ass, there isn't any harm using these big words to showcase that he is intelligent.

Writing skills, creativity and originality

Maria: 8/10

You've taken troupes and mixed it up into an even bigger troupe. I don't ever think I've read about a love triangle with these dynamics. I've read books about the bad boy getting the good or ballsy girl . I've read about the boss getting the struggling worker. I've read about Mr right falling inlove with a girl who's inlove wihh her best friend, but I've never read about all three pursuing one single girl.  All of these cliche troupes mixed together into one big bowl of soup really tickled my pickle.
I also like the fact that you used Povs to show how the characters feel, to tell us things third person cannot. However careful for confusing your reader when using this.

Ash: 8/10

The author delivered a very good story. I think she was creative and very descriptive when creating this book. She gave me a clear picture of everything and this is what readers like myself absolutely love. I don't want to get told Cora is struggling. I want to see her have peanut butter bread and instant noodles in a one bedroom apartment. I want to see her open the letter showing an eviction notice. And the author delivered this. Good job!

Enjoyment:

Maria: 9/10

I loved it. It really tickled my pickle. It has compelling characters and a good plot and honestly I can't wait to read more. A very good book that you should keep working on until the final chapter.

Ash: 8/10

Even though I don't enjoy romance, I enjoyed it a whole lot. It's close to taking spot number two on my reading list. I hope you keep writing because you're talented and creative, with a great skill. You have to carry on so I could read more.

Suggestions

Maria:
Try  to only use big words when you're  required to. I don't know about the other readers but it sucks the attention from my body. Keep it simple. Another thing if you're not planning on doing so, give us more of Mr accardi and Alistar

Ash
Use smaller words, try to keep it simple. Don't be scared to write more or longer chapters to get your point. Like Maria said, a book has about 30 chapters so don't be scared to dwell on a situation (don't go overboard through)
