Okay . . . how the heck can Cassandra Clare write like ten million books at the same time about the same universe, not get flustered and take at least two years on each of them, still manage to make them good, keep up with the ridiculously long family tree from all the way back to the Victorian Era, and have everything still make sense?

I can barely stick to writing an idea for a book.

Although I'm slightly nervous.

I mean when she releases a new series, part of me is like, "YEEEEEAAAAAAH!!!"
Whereas the other part is going, "Another?"

Usually when authors release a ton of books in the same universe, they tend to lean downhill. (*cough* The Blood of Olympus *cough* [btw I'm so thankful he picked it up with ToA])

I'm worried that her books will start to do that. So far they haven't, which is great.

Lady Midnight kind of eased my worries. Still. Worries are there.

Which new series are you looking forward to most? (Personally, The Last Hours. I LOVE LOVE LOVE TID and freaking WILLIAM HERONDALE, so I'm SO EXCITED to hear from Tessa and Will and Jem again. By far TID was her best series. So I hope TLH lives up to my great expectations. *hah see what I did there*)

Also I realized this a while back.

She has three, (published) soon to be four Shadowhunter series with different female leads. (Tessa, Clary, Emma.)

Okay, the most common hair colors are black, brown, red, and blond.

Main eye colors are blue, green, brown, and gray.

Tessa: brown hair, gray eyes
Clary: red hair, green eyes
Emma: blond hair, brown eyes

Which means that Lucie will probably have black hair and blue eyes, since she hasn't used those features for a main lead yet, and Will Herondale (black hair, blue eyes) is her father.

So just a guess . . .

I'm not assuming that. I'm just a little worried since she has so much to keep up with as is.
