So I was rereading Catching Fire today and came across some evidence as to why Everlark is perfection and Gale shouldn't be with Katniss. Because that's what I do for fun.

Ahem:

Also, remember this beautiful scene on the beach when Peeta showed Katniss the locket to persuade her to live instead? And how the locket had pictures of Prim, her mother, and Gale? How he was basically allowing her to *gag* marry Gale? That it'd be okay with him, as long as she were happy?

Would Gale be that selfless?

Hmm, no.

Gale was too self-absorbed to get it through his thick skull that Katniss was trying to survive, and by doing so, she had to fake a romance with Peeta, (THAT TURNED REAL!!!) and she did not intend to hurt Gale. But Gale threw a pity party and didn't listen.

He was so jealous of Peeta, and in no way would he give consent for Katniss to be with him. He only left after his bomb . . .

I'm not trying to start a fight about Gale, but I kinda am.

Never liked that guy . . . no matter what, I don't think I will.

Anyway I had to say that because I got a refresher on 'Why I hate Gale.'
