Ooh! Ooh! The day for shedding tears made out of blood?

This video causes so many feels. So many. Get your tissues. I sobbed so hard.
Aww
GUESS WHAT? ITS THE NINETEENTH! I SOB. HARD. FOREVER.
HELP *throws tissues and cookies and life rings and hurting pain and I don't even know FEELS ARE EVERYWHERE RIGHT NOW*
*curls in a ball, sobbing*
I had a realization.
Somewhere in the world, (bc they exist) Tessa is lying in bed, under a sheet of blankets, sobbing her eyes out. She probably doesn't even care about all of the horrid substances that have gotten on her blankets. Jem is in another room, tracing his parabatai Rune. He is remembering all of their times together. He is crying softly. He remembers not only Will dying, but Charlotte, Sophie, Henry, Cecily, Gideon, Gabriel, and all of their children at their graves. He sees Will and Tessa's beloved children dying.
He recalls playing the violin to Will.
Tessa remembers all of this, too. It will be stamped in their memories forever.
Tessa knows that soon, she'll have two annual dates for mourning.
So she wades up the sheets, covers herself, and approaches Jem.
The two of them cry together.
~
Magnus remembers too. He is sitting down, petting Chairman Meow, and scrawling through his memories. Of a boy who appeared so much like his Alec, with hair like ink and evangelical blue eyes.
He remembers Tessa Gray's sobs as she stood beside where her elderly husband lay. She looked so youthful beside him.
He thinks of how he had helped to console her. How in years to come, she will return the favor.
A century ago, a boy with black hair and blue eyes had passed away.
In this century, another boy with black hair and shining blue eyes will fall as well.
Magnus doesn't know when.
But he will soon.
His day of mourning will come.
And perhaps, on that day, he will recollect every pain that courses through Tessa Gray's memory.

Emma thinks of a mourning Jem Carstairs as she glances at Church. She feels sympathy and fear as she fingers her parabatai Rune. She recalls Jem's stories of his brother, not in blood, but in heart. She thinks of his tears, his smiles, his laughs, his heartache, his memories. She wonders how two people could ever be so very close. Parabatai share most of the connections that Jem always recites, but Emma always saw a deeper spark in Jem's eyes when his parabatai was mentioned. A spark that only every approached when William Herondale was brought up. A spark that she has searched for but yet to find in any other parabatai's gaze.
She momentarily ponders whether or not she and Julian have acquired a glint as deep as Jem's.
No. They do not have the shine that Jem has when referring to Will Herondale.
She prides herself and also condemns herself with the knowledge that she has the same look when she thinks of Julian that Jem has when he does so for Tessa.
~
Jace doesn't know why, but on this particular summer day, he feels a pang of longing.
He reaches for a scrap of paper. On it, he only writes: Herondales live on.
It grants him the upmost satisfaction, though he cannot explain why.
~
Let's sob.
*moment of sobbing*
Everyone write 'Ave atque vale, William Herondale' on the back of your hand. Join me to honor Will's legacy.
That's all for now. Take some tissues and hug a father.
