The Rise Of Faim covers
I have considered updating my cover months ago, then decided against it.
This cover says oriental carnival vibes.
This cover screams too hot for BBQ.
This one was half baked because the gradient is too excessive.
So I decided to keep the sunrise/sunset aesthetic of the cover because it's relaxing to look at.
There are more covers, but are just rehashed.
I'll be honest, this cover is a visible manifestation of the plot for The Rise Of Faim.
The origin story of Faim's conception was because my older brother randomly printed random words in color. The word Faim in orange looked pretty so I thought of drawing that same paper my big bro printed, drew the character and kept it in my portfolio.
I basically created him as a parody character inspired by popular shonen anime like DBZ and Naruto.
Plus, I never designed a male character as a protagonist before until I made him.
I originally intended to name my male protag Cloud, but since Cloud Strife already exists, I scrapped the idea.
The original sketch of Faim has a similar hair-do, a gi, and fingerless gloves, barefoot.
Ignore this cringey life-action version.
I wanted to make a pun, famous = Faim Mas (or Faim Maas). His full name is Faim Mas Sohn, I decree it as Canon in the TRoF lore.
Plus, I also intended to make 100 parts of the story, each part starting with a letter of the alphabet.
(Sunrise, Training, Unfit, Village...)
It was intentional, I wrote down over 100 chapter titles that couls span to a whole trilogy.
Packed with worldbuilding and cool ideas that could lead to story arcs.
The truth is, it takes a lot of time and dedication to flesh out the story.

It'd be a nice idea to make a trilogy with the each cover having the image of each protagonist.
But at the moment, I have to settle with what I made so far.
(Faim and Eimy)
I have their origin story mapped out.
Spoiler: Their father got lost at sea and didn't return, and their mother died of an illness (like cancer or multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson Disease) when they became teenagers. The only options they had were:
1) Move to their (maternal) grandparents' estate
2) Move to a foster home
3) Get emancipated
This is where the storyline gets tricky for me.
Plenty of ideas, little to no time to put them to practice.
That's pretty much the gist of the story related to the covers, the ideas I had related to the story.
So thanks for scrolling down, or reading it, whatever floats your boat.
Take care everyone!
