Tessa's p.o.v

That night I stayed with Blaze. Everyone stayed with their mate or with their parents. I know Annachi and mom stayed together and Kaden, Sage, and Griffen all stayed together. As of now I'm laying in bed with my head on Blaze's bare chest. His hand is tracing random patterns on my arm as I cuddle into him.

"Tomorrow is the day we bury our parents."

Blaze says with a sigh at the end. The whole land will be depressed and saddened. Nearly every pack lost someone. The only back that didn't is the Noble pack.

"Yeah."

I softly say as I look up into the brown eyes of my mate. I sigh and send him a small smile.

"I'll be by your side the whole time. The only time I won't be is when I'm carrying away my f-father's casket."

He says as tears brim his eyes. I wipe away the tears that fall from his eyes. He smiles down at me but his smile doesn't reach his eyes.

"Can we not talk about this Blazs. At least not at the moment."

I ask him and he nods. I peck his soft lips and lay my head on his chest. I close my eyes as I listen to the sound of his heart beat.

Thump.

Thump Thump.

Thump.

Thump Thump.

"WAKIE! WAKIE!"

"Ahhh!"

I scream into a pillow as I feel a force covering my body. Emma's laughter is the next thing I hear and I roll my eyes. I turn my head to see that it's Blaze that's covering me with his body.

He growls lowly and I feel something push against my back. I blush and jump out from under him onto the floor. He laughs along with Emma and I sigh.

"Wake up love birds and be ready within two hours."

She says as she slams the door behind her. My eyes go to the alarm clock to see it says 6 AM. I sigh and stand up. I look over at Blaze to see he has a slight blush on his face.

"Someone embarrassed?"

I ask as I walk over to my duffel bag and search around for something to wear. Today is our parents funeral and I know Emma wanted to have a happy start to a say day.

"That never happens to me."

He quickly rushed out and I laugh. I finally give up looking for a dress and turn to Blaze who is still sitting on the bed.

"Do you know where I can find a dress to wear?"

I ask him and he chuckles. I notice how the blankets are gathered around his waist. Yup, he's embarrassed.

"You in a dress?"

He asks with a smirk on his face. I smile and roll my eyes as I nod.

"I want to look nice for my father."

I tell him and he sighs in understanding. His eyes glaze over and a few minutes later there is a knock at the door. I open it and a woman is standing there with a black dress in her arms.

"Thank you."

I tell her as I take the dress from her. She walks away as I shut the door. I walk over to the bathroom and shut the door behind me. I turn the water on and look at the dress that was given to me.

It was a black a little above the knee length dress with no sleeves. It was paired with a black leather jacket and a Cresent moon necklace. The moon had a circle by it with a galaxy painted on it.

I laid the dress on the bathroom counter and stripped down. I hopped in the shower and did everything I normally do in the shower and jumped out. I dried myself off with a towel and took a look at the dress.

I slipped the dress on and it fit perfectly. I took hold of the leather jacket and necklace as I walked out of the bathroom.

When I looked around I saw Blaze standing up on his phone. I smiled at the sight of my shirtless mate. All he had on was a pair of shorts.

"Hey babe, do you mind helping me with this?"

I ask him as I walk towards him. He looks up from his phone and nods. I hand him the necklace and he clips it around my neck. The pendant falls to my upper chest.

"Thank you, now go get your shower."

I tell him and he chuckles as he grabs some cloths off the bed. He walks into the bathroom and I hear a knock at the door. I go to open it and standing there is the little ball of blonde energy. Also known as Emma.

"Good your done showering now let's get to work on your makeup."

She says as she walks in. She walks over to Blaze's desk and opens her make up kit, or as I call it the torture kit. The kit has four different shelves inside three different sections. All types of make up are inside and she turns towards me. I look over her outfit.

She's dressed in a sleeveless black dress that puffs out at her waist. The dress is paired with black leggings and black high heels. She has black eye shadow and a purple jeweled necklace. She had black eye shadow and dark red lipstick.

"Get over here."

She says and I just obey her. She is very scary sometimes so I just obey. I walk over and sit down in the swivel chair. I face her and she stands in front of me with her thinking face.

She then moves and begins her work. After what felt like an eternity she finally finished. The handed me a mirror and I looked at myself. My eye shadow was black at the ends of my eyes and slowly became white as it got closer to my nose. Lip gloss was applied to my lips and that was about it.

"What's going on here?"

Blaze asked as he walked into the room. Emma was packing her stuff up as her eyes glazed over.

"Emma came over and did my makeup. I was forced."

I tell him and he chuckles. Blaze is in a black suit with a white under shirt and black tye. He has on black pants and black cowboy boots as well. His hair looks normal but with a little hair gell in it.

Emmq's eyes go back to normal as she continued to pack up her stuff. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door as I checked the time. It's 7:00 AM.

Emma opened the door with her torture kit in hand. Abraham is at the door and he passes Emma a pair of heeled black leather boots. She passes them to me and smiles. Abraham is dressed in a black suit and black pants. He has on a light grey under shirt and a metallic grey tye. He has on pilgrim shoes as well.

I watch as Emma and Abe walk out. I sit on the end of the now made bed and pull on the boots Emma gave me. The leather boots go to about my knee and they fit perfectly. The heels were about a half inch so I would be able to walk in them just fine. The zipper was gold and it went perfectly with my dress.

"Beautiful."

I hear Blaze growl out as I stand up. I smile as I walk over to him. He pulls me close by my hips and I wrap my arms around his neck.

"So handsome."

I whisper so only he can hear. He smiles as he presses our lips together. I gladly accept his kisses. I want to have a happy start to a bad day.

There is a knock at the door and we pull apart. Blaze opens the door and Scarlett walks in.

"Come on guys, we're about to leave."

She says and Blaze takes my hand in his as we follow her out. I'm not looking forward to this.
