Tessa's p.o.v

After we waited Wyatt came back and collected Colton to he could make the trenches. As we waited we talked about random crap.

"So my dad sent me to go get a toaster and Blaze was with me. So we went out and bought a toaster but on the way back we though it would be a bright idea to hold it out the window of a car."

Abe began and we all snickered as we knew something was coming.

"So Abe held it out of the car window by the box while we were going 80 down the free way. Well the box broke and the toaster fell out the bottom."

Blaze said as we all burst out in laugher. We knew those two were stupid but not that stupid.

"But I quickly grabbed it by the cord as it hung out the window swaying back and fourth. I pulled it in the car and held the box out the window until a semi truck stole it using their side mirror."

Abe continued as we all laughed even harder. Who knew these two could he that stupid!?

"Derek still dosent know about it to this day and we don't plan on telling him."

Blaze said and I laughed so hard my eyes began to water. I leaned into Blaze as he laughed as well.

"I hate to interrupt but Colton we need you to make those trenches now."

Grandpa said abs he stood at the door way to the tent. Cole smiled and stood up as he walked out. Grandpa nodded at all of us and followed after Colton. I looked back at my group of friends with a smile on my face.

"Well guys, we should probably hit the hay. We will have a big day tomorrow."

Emma spoke out and i nodded as I stood up. Everyone else stood up after me and we all looked around at each other.

"I agree. Cole will come back and see that were asleep and run back to his tent. Well good night guys."

Madelyn says as she walks out. Her long brown hair bounces behind her as she walks out.

"Good night."

Jasmine and Jacob say as they walk out of our tent. They hold hands as they walk back to their personal tents. Emma and Abraham walk over to their bed and they climb in. I walk over to the fire and hold out my hand to cause the flame to get smaller.

I look back over to the bed I share with Blaze to see him laying in it shirtless. There is a curtain blocking the view of the other beds from everyone else so we can all have a little privacy.

I walk back over to him and change into a tank top and shorts. I climb in next to him and lay my head on his shoulder. I kiss his cheek and he kisses the temple of my head. I smile and I can feel his smile without needing to see it.

"I love you Blaze."

"I love you too Tessa, good night."

"Good night." 

I tell him as he wraps his arms around me. We fall asleep in one another's arms.

The next morning we were woken up by the sound of a trumpet. I groan and I hear Blaze groan as well. I run my eyes and look behind me. Blaze has a hand over his eyes and he huffs as he removes his hand.

"Is this how the military wakes up every day?"

He asks and I giggle.

"Sadly. We should get up though, we have a lot to do today."

I tell him as I rise to my feet. He sighs in annoyance and groans. I watch as he rubs his hands up and down his face at a fast pace. I giggle and he slowly gets up.

I feel my hair only to realize that I need a shower. I grab myself a blue and grey tank top that was a gift from grandpa. It's the Navy camouflage pattern and it's make of silk. I also grab a set of blue kombat pants and black kombat boots.

"I'm going down to the beach to take a shower. My hair is super greasy and you know how I love my hair."

I tell Blaze and he nods. He grabs a grey tee shirt and blue kombat pants with some black kombat boots. He also had some grey socks in his hand.

"I'm going to join you, I need a shower after yesterday's training."

Blaze said and I smiled and nodded. We walked down to the beach. I was in the tank top and shorts and Blaze was in shorts. We both had flip flops on as we walked.

I'm thankful that Colton made a coral wall with sea weed intertwined between the spaces of coral. That provides us some privacy while the others need to use it out on the open.

Blaze and I walked into the area that was walled off by Cole's coral wall. We walked in and hung our cloths on some pieces of coral and began to take our baths. As we were still young we kept to separate sides of the walled off area with our backs to one another.

We finished up and got dressed in the cloths we brought with us. My tank top is a little tight witch is how I like it. The pants are tight around my thighs and hips which is how I want them to be and tell boots have enough foot room.

'Tessa where are you?!'

Mom's voice rang through my mind. She shouted at me amended I flinched.

'I was taking a bath, what's up?'

I ask her back with worry laced in my voice. If she shouted at me something must be wrong.

'Demitri sent us a threat and Sage wants us all to read it.'
