Flashback

As I ran up to the house with Jacob behind me my father was loading bags into the back of his truck. I shifted behind a tree and got dressed. Jacob shifted and threw his shorts on as well. We walked out and dad growled in my direction.

"Tessa why do you have a Rouge with you?"

He asked with his eyes narrowed in on Jacob. Poor guy hid behind me out of fear.

"Dad this is Jacob. He hates the rouge life even though he was born into it. He ran away from Demitri and found me. He is one of the alpha kids. He has the gold markings."

I told my father and he gasped. We knew there would be an eighth we just didn't know who. Jacob was still confused on the matter.

"Of course. Jacob I'm mark, we will find you cloths later. Until then your coming with us to the prison pack. Your riding with me while Tessa runs."

Dad told him and I sent him a confused look. Jacob only sent a nervous chuckle.

"Why?"

I asked dad and he looked to me.

"My father is gathering a large army with hopes of destroying the Allied packs. I have all the information that could help you out."

Jacob said as if it was nothing. I gasped and stormed up to them.

"How could you not tell me this! I am a war leader not only for this pack! But for this land! I should have been one of the first to know so I could begin to make plans!"

I shout at dad and he puts his hands up in surrender. He looks me in the eyes as he does so.

"Tessa no one has come up with any ideas yet. That's why we're going to the prison pack. Now get going."

Dad says and mom hands me a bag. I take it and go shift. I pick the bag up in my mouth as I run.

Flashback over

That was three days ago. Right now I am nearly to the fear pack/ prison pack border. I continue running with the forest zooming behind me.

I enter into prison pack lands and I don't let out a howl as they will since my presence.

I keep running till a large dark brown wolf pushes me to the ground. As this wolf does so an amazing smell of cinnamon and a forest on a sunny day fills my nose. I look up at the brown wolf on top of me and his brown eyes lock with mine.

'Mate! Mate! Mate. Wait, mate?'

My wolf, war, chants as I stare into the eyes of this gorgeous wolf above me. His fur is dark brown and he has gold marking as well.

He slowly gets off me and shifts. I take my bag and go shift behind a tree. I get dressed in a tank top of grey jersey shorts. I walk back out to find that the wolf was alpha Blaze. Well at least he's waring shorts.

Blaze of the prison pack. He's my mate.

"Mate."

Blaze whispers as I walk towards him. My long dark brown hair falls over my shoulders and I smile.

"Mate."

I speak softly back to him as he looks me over. I do the same to him. He has dark brown hair and stunning brown eyes. His tall body towers over mine about a half foot to a foot. His muscles are easily defined.

I walk closer to him and he pulls me into a hug. People are right when they tall about the gentle and calm vive he gives off. He has to bend down a little as the top of my head is only to his shoulder. He burys his face in my neck as he inhales my scent.i wrap my arms around him and he looks up at me.

We stare into one another's eyes yet again and he leans down towards my lips. I straighten up a little so our lips meet. Sparks flood my body like a broken dam floods a city. My hands fly to his hair as I run my fingers through it. He grips my hips as he holds me close to him. A soft moan escapes my lips and the sound of someone clearing their throat can be heard.

We pull away and a slight blush covers my neck. The only time blush will apper on my cheeks is if I'm truly and utterly embarrassed.

"Do I get the honor of meeting my son's mate?"

I looked over at the voice and I saw alpha Ace. Blaze smiled and held me to his side.

"Father this is Tessa Chandler of the intelligence pack and my luna."

He said with such pride about me it made my heart swell with happiness.

"Leader Tessa it's a plusure. This is my newly found mate, Annachi."

Ace said and I smiled.

"Where is your father?"

Blaze asked me as he turned his head down to look at me. I smiled as I looked back into his brown orbs.

"On his way. I chose to run but he should be here soon. And he has some help that will help us with the rouges."

I tell them as some other wolves run up. They all shift to reveal alphas Altaïr, kaden, sage, and Derek.

"Leader Tessa you his mate?"

Sage asks and Blaze growls and pulls me to him. Possessive much? War began to purr at our mates Possessiveness and I must say, I kinda liked it.

"Mine."

Blaze growls and I smile. This simple action caused my heart to flutter and heat to rush to my core.

"We need to go back. Alpha Altaïr is here."

Blaze said and he took his shorts off and shifted. He held his shorts in his mouth as he knelt close to the ground. I climbed onto his back and he stood up.

Sparks spread wherever our skin touched. I clutched his fur as he bolted off. I pressed my face into his fur and he growled in approval.

Slowly he began to slow down and I lifted my head to see that we were approaching the pack house. I saw Altaïr, alex, and Colton sitting and standing around the trucks.

Blaze lowers himself to the ground so I can jump off. I jump off and he shifts and throws his shorts on. I look down to see he has a six pack.

"Welcome alpha Altaïr, Alpha colton, and Luna alex."

My mate says and I listen to his voice. His voice is a little deep and a little croaky. But this croaky is a nice type of croaky; it mixes well with his voice.

"Thank you Alpha Blaze."

Alex said as she smiled. Cole looked at Blaze and my intertwined hands and he looked a little hurt. Did he like me before hand? War has told me that his wolf showed some signs of affection towards me but we don't know.

"Will you follow me? Cole can stay with Blaze and Tessa."

Ace said and alex and Altaïr walked off. Coltom looked between me and Blaze with hurt in his eyes.

"Hel-"

"Are you guys mates?"

Colton interrupted Blaze as he looked between us. His eyes look like there about to brim over with tears.

"Yes we are."

Blaxe said as he pressed a kiss to my neck. I gripped his hand tighter and he looked at me with concern. I looked back at Coltom to see a single tear slip down his cheek.

"I see."

His voice breaks as he speaks. He had to of loved me at one point but he knew we wernt mates.

"Do you want me to show you to your room?"

Blaze offers and Cole nods. We begin to walk away and Colton follows. I feel kind of bad for him now.

We lead him to a large room. Inside this room there are two other kids. I recognize them as alpha Abe and Leader Jasmine.

"You can pick a bed. Tessa why don't you go pick a bed."

Blaxr whispered the last part to me and I watched as Cole chose the bed next to Abe. There were 4 on one side and three on the other side of the room. I chose the bed next to Jasmine which was on the four side. Blaze walked in and pushed the bed next to me closer to mine.

"Just to let you all know we're mates."

I yelled and they all clapped. Well everyone except Cole. He just sat there facing the wall. His shoulders began moving up and down as he cried softly. Abe sat next to him as he tried to find out what's wrong.

But then another howl was let loose. This one came from outside. It was of a greeting call, probably Griffen or dad.
