"Pirates. Hiccup there are pirates!" Merida nervously trying to block out the memory of her being captured not once but twice on by the Outcasts.

"Hey it's alright no one is going to hurt you. I won't let that happen to you ever again." Hiccup said taking her by the shoulders.

"Everyone get below the deck. I'll handle this." Jack said.

"Not alone you're not!" Anna insisted,

"Anna I can protect myself I'll be fine."

"No I'm not just going to leave you up here with pirates!"

"Anna listen to him he has ice powers remember if anything happens he can just fly and freeze them.....wait you're a winter spirit not everyone can see you. They'll go right through you." Kristoff said.

"You're right." Jack said. "Well I guess we'll have to...."

"I guess I'll be the one staying up here." Elsa said.

"Oh no way no absolutely not." Jack said.

"Well too bad it's already been decided. I have ice powers that can effect them so I'm staying."

"Oh just face it we're all staying up here." Merida said.

"Are you sure you Anna and Rapunzel could go down and...." Hiccup said

"And do what? Hide like some scared little girl? I'm tired of being afraid Hiccup. I'm ready." She said placing her arrows in their quiver.

"Are the cannons ready?" Hiccup asked the crew.

"Yes Captain they are locked and loaded and our men are armed with swords." A large man with a strong jaw and piercing dark eyes said.

"What is your name sir?" Hiccup asked.

"My name is Miller captain."

"Well Miller from now on you're in charge of the crew you seem to know exactly what you're doing." Hiccup said.

"Thank you sir I will do my best." He said.

Hiccup looked up into the grey unfiltered sky where Jack was keeping an eye on the pirate ship.

"How much longer Jack!" Hiccup called.

"About 15 minutes it looks like." Jack yelled back.

"Alright I want everyone armed for safety. I have Toothless, Merida has her bow, Elsa her ice, and Rapunzel......."

"Well I can't. A use Earthquakes while on sea but I think I'll manage with some animals on our side." She replied.

"Okay and what about you Anna?" Hiccup turned to Anna who was trying to pick up Kristoff's new heavy ice pick she had gotten him.

"It's alright I can.....make this work..." She said huffing "god Kristoff how do you lift this thing?"

"Okay Anna just grab a sword for now." Hiccup said.

"Now let's not jump to conclusion they could pass by us with no problem we just want to be prepared...."

"Hiccup! They're almost here!" Jack said.

"Okay everybody into position!" Hiccup said getting on Toothless.

The pirate ship slowly pulled up next to their ship. It looked less creepy up close. Despite the pirate flag it looked like a normal merchant ship. The pirate ship came to a stop. Merida hidden in the crows nest loaded up her bow. Kristoff held tightly to his ice equipment which he was prepared to use as a weapon if needed. Anna was hidden with Rapunzel still trying to figure out how to grip the sword properly. Jack, Hiccup, Elsa, and Toothless stood on deck.

Finally someone came up. He appeared to be the captain. Long brown hair that stopped at his shoulders. He had rings on his fingers an earring in one ear. Lastly he had hazel wild eyes like a cat.

"Well hello there. Looks like we've encountered a royal transport." He said.

"Hello sir may I ask you what business you have here?" Elsa asked.

"Your majesty I've heard great tales about you! Ice queen they call you in the southern lands. No offense your majesty but I am here to talk with the captain. The captain his in control of his domain so it is him you gets the floor," he replied.

"I'm the captain now would you mind telling us why you've stopped next to us and who you are."

"Well Captain . As you see by my flag we are here to rob you....although your scaly friend here...seems to be a very challenging defense. Plus can you tell your archer to stand down I'm not going to attack you. I'm proposing a deal. I know when I'm going to lose a battle." He said.

"Merida you can stand down." Hiccup called up.

"No chance!" She shouted

"Well you heard her." Hiccup said.

"Alright I'll try not to make any sudden movements. I'm Captain Eret son of Eret by the way. Now since you seem to have a powerful crew and dragon I propose a deal. You give us three bags of gold we give you peace."

"I don't think so." Kristoff said "you have to offer something better than that or we can just have Toothless fry your ship."

"Alright you want a fair trade I respect that. So I will give you important information on where you're going."

"We are on our way to Corona." Hiccup said.

"Ah beautiful kingdom! We happen to have a prisoner from there. He's infamous for robbing I keep asking him to join our crew but he refuses. Anyway...."

"Wait is his name Flynn Rider?" Rapunzel asked coming out from her hiding spot.

"Well how many more beauties do you have hidden on this ship? And yes, do you know him."

"Yes! Listen I'll give you three bags of gold personally if you let him go."

"Rapunzel!" Jack exclaimed.

"Jack he's my friend I need to help him." She muttered so Captain Eret didn't think she was crazy and talking to thin air.

"I'll take you up on that." Captain Eret said.

"Elsa I promise I will pay you back once we get to Corona." She said

"It's fine Rapunzel I just hope you know what you're doing." She said.

"I do." She said.

The pirate crew brought out Flynn. Who was tied around with rope.

"Today is your lucky day Rider! This girl seems to know you and payed a pretty price for you." Captain Eret said.

Flynn looked over and saw Rapunzel. She looked so....different he almost didn't recognize her. Her long blonde hair was replaced by short brown hair. Her cheeks seemed to glow with light. She looked almost heavenly.

"Rapunzel???" He questioned.

"Hi Eu--Flynn." She said.

The crew untied him and placed a plank between the boats. Flynn willingly walked across it to the other ship.

"Well Eret looks like you'll have to catch me next time you're in town." Flynn yelled.

"Well when I do just know there is always a position for you. You stubborn crook." Eret said.

They packed up the three bags of gold and departed shortly afterwards.

"Rapunzel I can't believe it's you!" He exclaimed. "You look so different you feel different? What are you doing out of your tower what happened to your hair?"

"Woah woah calm down Eugene."

"Eugene?" They all questioned.

"Yeah yeah it's my real name shush shush." Eugene said.

"Now there is a lot to explain but we're going to find my birth parents."

"Really?! I thought you lived with your mother...."

"Again long story I will tell you everything but for now let's get you something to eat you look hungry." She said.

"Can we trust him?" Elsa asked.

"If Rapunzel trusts him then I do too." Jack said.

Authors note: so surprise!! Pirates aren't evil! I thought about it a lot and decided to not have a pirate attack since we had a lot of that in the first book. So yay for conniving pirates that aren't evil. Now I have to warn you next week I will be making a visit to my grandparents which means NO WIFI and no Internet connections!!! Ugh so updates will be slower since I will be searching and sneaking into their neighbors yard to use their wifi so updates will be slow for the next three weeks.
