I walked into the Hokage office with Kimi following close behind me.

When I arrived inside the Hokage office, I saw Lady Tsunade sitting at her desk, looking over some paperwork.

"I see that you're finally back, Emiyo. I assume that your time away was productive," Lady Tsunade said.

"Of course, I wasn't sitting down doing nothing. I would never achieve my dream of joining the ANBU if I didn't get stronger," I said with determination in my voice.

Tsunade looked at me with a smile on her face. "I see your determination as the day you left to achieve that dream of yours. Yet I also see you only want to become ANBU and not a scientist anyone," Tsunade said.

"Yeah, I don't think I'm meant to be a scientist. I'm smart but don't have the same skill as my science idol to create something that would be useful to help people," I said.

"You need a new science idol. The person you idolize is a monster," Kimi said.

"Oh, be quiet, Kimi," I muttered.

"What did she do to make you tell her to be quiet?" Tsunade asked.

"She was telling me I need to get a new science idol because my old idol is a monster. I told her to be quiet because I already knew that, but I couldn't help it. Orochimaru might not be a good person but got admit that he is brilliant," I said.

"She right you need a new idol, but I'm not going to make you find a new science idol. Just don't start doing the same experiments as him."

"I won't. I might idolize them for how smart he is, but I wouldn't experiment on people."

"Good. You're free to leave. I want to test your skills to determine your current rank, but I won't be doing that today. I find someone for fighting against tomorrow. Why don't you head home and rest?"

"I understand. I go home and say hello to my family first, then my friends," I said, walking towards the door. "Tomorrow, I pass the test and show that I'm not Chunin level anymore. I will go up to Jounin then one-day ANBU," I said, turning back to face the Hokage and showing her the determination in my eyes.

She smiled at me and nodded.

"Kid, you were always so quiet, but now your nothing but full of determination," Kimi said, giving a doggy smile.

After leaving the Hokage office, I went straight to my house where my family is.

I walked inside and announced I was home to greet my big sister and mom hugging me.

"Little sister, your back home," Hana, my older sister, said, hugging me.

"My little girl is so grown up," Mom said, looking at how tall I got before hugging me.

"Alright, let me go before you squeeze the life out of me," I said, trying to free myself from the double hug I was in.

Kimi just smiled at the scene. I glared at her for not helping me. She sighed and finally decided to help me.

"Okay, let her go. She needs to breathe," Kimi said.

Mom and my older sister then let me go.

"Right, sorry, sister," My older sister said.

"Thanks for the save, Kimi," I said, giving her my thanks. Kimi nodded.

"So is Kiba home?"

"No, he left earlier to go train," Mom said.

"I see. He trains by himself or with the team?"

"I believe that he said it was team training," My older sister said.

"Alright, then I will go look for them to say hello," I said. "Kimi, you going to stay here? Are you coming with me?" I asked.

"I'm going to stay here and take a nap in your room. You sure put your bag in your room," Kimi said.

"Okay, then I leave without you after I put my bag away," I said, combing out my hair extensions that go down past my shoulder.

Kimi and I then started walking upstairs to my bedroom.

"That hair of yours gotten long. Your boyfriend Shino go to love it," Kimi said, looking back at me as we walked upstairs.

"Yeah," I said, thinking about what Shino will say about my hair.

When I arrived inside my room, I placed my bag on the floor next to my bed.

"Alright, I will be back later, Kimi. Going to say hello to my team," I said, walking back over to my bedroom door.

"Okay. I'll see you later don't stay out too long. It would be best if you rested after all. We didn't get too much rest traveling back home."

"I know not going to stay out. Long but I might review some of my sage mode training while out. Since my sage mode is still a little bit imperfect."

"Alright, if you need help, summon Adoff are. Reverse summon and get the Wolf sage elder to help you."

"I know Kimi, no need to treat me like a little kid, but I appreciate your concern and advice," I said, smiling at her before walking out of my room and closing the door.
