Elisha's POV

We went to the vault and I knew that Dakota was supposed to shut up. When we went to the vault and we were surprised. It was like a museum full of cutiemarks, when did cutiemarks ever appear? Cutiemarks started to appear when we found the village but that was only 2 days ago is it possible that there was always cutiemarks ever since we were kids? Later on Starlight went to us and asked.

"How did you find out about the vault?" Starlight asked. We couldn't say the truth, Sugar Tiana and the others told us not to mention anything that happened but they never told us the reason why.

"Oh, we were curious why there was a cave near th—" Brownie for interrupted.

"Well someone just seemed to really miss her cutiemark that she told us all abou—" Dakota got interrupted.

"Dakota!" Michai scolded her.

"Oops sorry" Dakota said while covering her mouth.

"Someone missed her cutiemark?" Starlight's voice became scarier and she was mad.

"Well no obviously not, you know Dakota is the stupidest girl in our group and we were just curious about how you got those cutiemarks." Brinna said while pointing at Starlight's cutiemarks.

"Hmmm..." Starlight looked at us suspiciously. "Since you asked how we get the cutiemarks I will tell you." Starlight continued.

"Guys I don't have a good feeling about this." I warned them, I knew something was going to happen but I wasn't sure I forgot what happens when the mane 6 saw the vault.

"This is the Staff of Dairus the tenth magical item, it makes us all equal and it freed us from our old selves." Everyone nodded agreeing to what Starlight said.

"Ten magical items I only remember nine!" Michai whispered to us.

"But why is it that all of you have different stories when you told me about the vault?" Starlight said.

"Um, we just got confused." Muffs said.

"But didn't Brownie say that you were curious about the cave, and why did Dakota say that someone missed her cutiemark, and Brinna said you were curious on the cutiemarks, they seem to be far away from each other." Starlight said. We were caught we couldn't answer that.

"As I said we were confused." Muffs said.

"But didn't you all hear it at the same time?" Starlight said. We couldn't answer that too, we all stayed quiet for a few seconds. "Huh, I think we know what's happening." Starlight said and snapped her fingers. I really had a bad feeling but I remembered.

"Girls! No! It's a trap!" I said immediately.

Michai flew up to use her magic and attack. "Michai don't fly up there!" I said but it was too late. Starlight used the Staff of Dairus and got Michai's cutiemark. Michai fell and we were next, our cutiemarks were gone. When our cutiemarks disappeared the equal sign became our cutiemarks. We didn't fell like ourselves anymore I was always happy but now I felt normal I didn't think of anything weird. Marissa wasn't that shy anymore, Dakota made more sense, Brinna wasn't that fun, Muffs didn't remember that much about technology anymore. We were all bland, like there was almost no more life in us anymore, almost no more personality, almost no more us, almost no more Diamond Rocks, we all almost felt empty. Michai tried to fight Starlight, but it was no use. Only a bit of ourselves were there we still had our memories, a little bit of our personalities was still inside us but it felt like it was all useless. It felt like we were in a wooden cage but we were too weak to even break it, like we couldn't even run anymore.

"Give it back!" Michai shouted.

"And what? What can you do? Your powers are almost gone, you are one of us now, no ever wanted to leave this place after all." Starlight said.

"We would never join you!" Elisha said.

"Well, you have no choice but to stay with us after all we are friends right?" Starlight said.

"Well we aren't friends anymore!" Dakota said trying to attack.

"Lock them up Snow Diamond." Starlight said.

"Yes Starlight!" Snow Diamond said.

They grabbed us and left us in a house. The door was locked, we tried breaking it down but it didn't work. The house had books that were all the same, there was two windows but it was too small to escape, they had 4 speakers one in each corner and the speakers are saying "free yourself from your cutiemarks" or something about forgetting our unique personalities which annoyed me so much.

A few hours later...

"Ouch!" I screamed when I tried to break the door.

"Elisha! Just stop it already you've been doing it for hours!" Brinna shouted.

"Stop and just give up?! That's not my thing!" Elisha shouted back.

"That's not what I meant!" Brinna said.

"Then what did you mean!" I said, then tried to break the door again.

"I meant sit down and think before doing that!" Brinna said.

"How does that help?!" I said.

"Elisha, she meant we have to think for a plan first then try breaking down the door, but it's not like we can think of anything." Rainbow said losing hope. Rainbow always had hope we were really loosing ourselves quickly.

"Oh..." I said lowering my voice then I sat down with the rest of my team.

"Soooo, what's the plan?" I asked.

"I DON'T KNOW!!" Michai said.

"Well back to breaking the door then." I said standing up.

"No stop it Elisha" Marissa said.

"Why?" I said lifting up one of my eyebrow.

"Remember what Brinna said." Marissa told me.

"Ugh, fine" I said and sat down again.

"Anyone who thought of a plan?" Sierra asked.

"No." Everyone responded. Ever since Starlight got our cutiemarks we aren't ourselves anymore. I used to be a girl who hates fights and now I'm making them. Marissa was super shy in front of people who she doesn't know but now every time she sees someone pass by the window she would shout something like "GET US OUT OF HERE!!!!" Or maybe
"COME HERE, UNLOCK US NOW!!!" but obviously no one freed us they just ran away. Dakota used to be the most stupid one but she made more sense which I think that was the positive side of loosing our cutiemarks. Brinna stopped saying funny things but she looked too serious. Michai was super serious in things but it looks like she can't focus anymore. Sierra used to love animals but she looked disgusted by them even her favorite animal, foxes. Muffs looked like she doesn't want to get dirty ever again after all the technician problems in our tower. Brownie looked like she wasn't into brownies or any baked food anymore and Rainbow didn't look supportive anymore she was just bringing us down. Hours later it was already 4 am in the morning and most of us were sleeping but Michai woke everyone up.

"GIRLS, I HAVE AN IDEA!!!!" Michai said.

"Really what is it?" Brinna said seriously.

Lol bad ending of the chapter... If you noticed it's Friday, March 9 and I said I won't be posting. Well I will be but I probably won't post until Wednesday which is next week soooooo... Yea. Anyways thanks for reading!
