"Let's set up camp for tonight." I said.

"Jack you're hurt." Rapunzel said gesturing to my bleeding arm.

"It's fine-"

"No really here I can fix it." She insisted.

"Fine but I don't think it will do any good since the rat was a nightmare rat."

"Okay now don't freak out." She said cautiously.

"Alright." I said unsure of what she meant.

She wrapped part of her hair around the wound. Okay a little weird and kind of gross but okay

"Flower Gleam and glow, let your power shine..." She sang and her hair started glowing!

"Save what has been lost bring back what once was mine......what once was mine." She finished and her hair stopped glowing. She unwrapped her hair and my arm was completely healed. I stared at my arm then at her. Then realization hit me.

"Don't freak out!" She said.

"I'm not, it's just that I've never seen a mortal have....powers before. Are you sure you're not a spirit?"

"Pretty sure, I grew up in that tower and I think I would've remembered dying." She joked.

"You'd be surprised." I replied.

"How did you die anyway?" She asked.

"You like asking a lot of questions don't you?"

She nodded waiting for the story.

"Well I was taking my little sister I've skating when the pond cracked beneath her. I pulled her out of the ice and into the snow, unfortunately I fell in and died. The next thing I knew I had ice powers and I didn't remember who I was or where I came from until Manny told me my name." I said.

"I'm sorry Jack." She said.

"Hey don't be sorry if I weren't dead, I wouldn't have met you." She smiled at me.

"Uh I'm going to get some fire wood since I'm guessing you're not used to cold, be right back."

"Okay!" She said.

I flew off and contacted North and the others.

"What is it Jack?"

"I found the energy, but it's not a thing it's a person, my new friend Rapunzel."

"This is great news Jack, now all we have to do is bring her to the workshop and keep her they til it's safe" said Aster

"No way, she's been locked up in a tower her whole life! She wants me to take her to see the lanterns and I promised her I would." I replied.

"Jack this is for her safety." North said.

"I keep her safe. Just please let me do this for her it's the least you could do for her sake." I pleaded.

"Fine but right after the lanterns you bring her to my shop."

"Deal." I said "do you guys happen to have any wood?"

" I got the fire wood Punz!" I said coming out from the woods.

"Oh good! What took you so long?" She asked.

"Had trouble finding some wood." I replied.

"Well I'm pretty sleepy" Rapunzel said with a yawn "I think I'm going to sleep night." She lied down.

"Good night." I said.

Who knew the power source I had been commanded to protect was her. Little did she know how much danger was out there. That's why I want her to see the lanterns. She needs something good to hold on to. And I'll make sure she'll get there.
