"Hey you ready?" I asked from the window.

"Yes my mother just left, let's go." Rapunzel said staring outside the window but not moving.

"You know you kind of have to climb out to come outside." I said

"I know...., I'm just taking my time."

"You don't have to do this." I said

"No, I need to do this." She said gripping her hair. She wrapped it around the hook and slid down. Stopping a couple inches off the ground.

She put her foot in the grass and began to run around. Her blonde hair swishing in the wind her bare feet dancing.

"Jack what is it?" She asked.

"Nothing I just.....I've never seen you this happy...it's nice."

She smiled at me. But her mind went back into reality.

"Oh god what if mother finds out? She's going to kill me." She muttered to herself.

Before I could answer she started talking to herself again.

"What she doesn't know won't kill her. , right?"

"Oh god this could kill her that's it I'm going back."

The next moment.

"I am never going back!!" She yelled.

Moments of inner turmoil later......

"Hey it's alright, a little rebellion it's good for you, and it's a lot more fun."

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"I'm sure now come on that Snuggly Duckling looks like a safe place to eat." I replied.

We went in and let's just say it wasn't what we were expecting.

Thugs and Ruffians were everywhere and stared at us.....well Rapunzel really they couldn't see me.

"Woah that's a lot of hair." One of them said touching her hair.

"How much money do you boys think we could get for that hair, I hear Darla's wig shop would die for golden locks like these." The man with a hook for a hand said.

"You stay away! I have a weapon." Rapunzel said raising her frying pan.

"Come down Blondie we were only kidding." The hook man said. "Now what are you doing in a place like this?"

"We're going to see the floating lights."

"Whose we?"

"They can't see me Punz." I said.

"Me and my chameleon Pascal." She said gesturing to her scaly friend perched on her shoulder.

Good save Rapunzel good save.

"Why do you want to see the lights?"

"It's my dream." She said quietly.

"Really?!?" They all replied.

"Well yeah, haven't any of you ever had a dream?" She asked.

The man with the hook stood up and did the last thing I was expecting. He broke out into song. As did the rest of the ruffians. I had honestly never seen anything like it.

All of sudden all the fun stopped when they heard a knock on the door.

"Where did you take her?!" Yelled a woman.

"That's my mother! She can't know I was here!" Rapunzel said.

"Quick there's a secret passage way. The man with the hook pulled the lever.

"Go live your dream."

"Thank you!" She said and hugged him. We both went down the secret passage way.

Meanwhile...

Third persons POV

Gothel finally burst in the pub.

"Where did you ruffians do with my flower!"

"What's this about a flower?" A drunken old man said.

"My daughter, long blonde hair. I know you've taken her, she's not at home and she would never run away." She shouted.

"Sorry mam we no girls here."

"I didn't want to do this....well actually I do." She said lifting up her hand causing everyone to fly and hit the ceiling.

"Witch!" The old man said hanging upside down.

"Oh sweetheart I'm so much worse then a witch." She laughed. "Now one of you tell me where she went."

No one spoke.

"Fine I'll just have to do things myself." She mind controlled the old man who was forced to reveal the passageway.

"Ah good that wasn't so hard." She said and threw the man into some barrels as she proceeded down the passage way.

"Sorry men, I didn't have any control." He said.

"Nah it's okay Gunther. We'll get back at her somehow, I just hope the blonde girl is okay."
