In this story, my oc will be starting his Pokemon journey years after Ash Ketchum. So when he goes to Kanto, he won't be running into Ash Ketchum at all.)

In Johto Region, in a small and quiet town known as New Bark Town, a young twelve-year-old boy lives with a dream to achieve.

"I'll become the world's greatest Pokemon master of all time!" The boy said, pumping his fist in the air.

This boy was none other than Alexander West. A young twelve-year-old boy with almost shoulder-length blue hair with the bang on his right stoping above his eye. He has dark purple eyes and is wearing a short sleeve orange pajama shirt with orange pants and red flames.

Alexander was currently sitting on his bed under the light green sheets and a dark green blanket watching one of the old battles from the Silver Conference four years ago. It was a battle between Ash Ketchum's Charizard and Harison's Blaziken.

"Charizard Flamethrower now!"

"Using incredible jumping power. Balziken successfully dodges flamethrower."

"Dragon Rage!"

"Blaziken, quick attack!"

"Yeah, go, Charizard and Blaziken!" Alexander cheered as he continued to watch the battle playing on the T.V.

The door then opened with a loud slam, making Alexander jump in surprise.

"Alexander West!" A female voice shouted from the other side of the door."What on earth are you still doing up at this hour?!"

"Mom?" Alexander said in surprise as he turned to face the door.

He then spotted a woman with royal blue hair tied back into a ponytail with a red hair tie. She had a light shade of purple eyes compared to Alexander's eyes. She was wearing a magenta nightgown and blue slippers.

This woman is Riley West, the mother of Alexander West. She is the owner of Love Unlimited daycare. She and her other employees help care for people's Pokemon and abandoned Pokemon eggs.

Riley looked at the Jigglypuff clock on the nightstand."You should be asleep, Alex. It is 11:30 in the evening," She said sternly. "Your little sister has been sleeping since seven, and she is not even the one starting her Pokemon journey tomorrow."

"She right, son. You should be asleep, not watching T.V," A male voice said.

Alexander then noticed a tall and muscular man with short blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt and grey sweatpants. This was Ronald, the father of Alexander. He is a skilled Pokemon doctor who gives medical treatment to the Pokemon at daycare and sometimes helps at the Pokemon center.

Alexander looked at the clock and turned back to look at his as he picked up the remote. "Sorry about that, mom and dad. I was so caught up in watching the old battle of the Silver Conference since I'm so excited for tomorrow. I lost track of time," He said sheepishly."It was one of the best matches in the Silver Conference, and this year, I finally got my first Pokemon since Mitsuki, and I missed out on our tenth birthday. Four kids but only three Pokemon, so we decided to wait until this year, which hopefully not have that problem again," He stated.

Riley sighed."Well enough watching this battle. If you want to be a Pokemon master, you need sleep," She said, taking the remote and shutting off the T.V.

"She's right, and don't worry; I had talked to professor Elm, and there are only three trainers this year," Ronald said. "Now get some sleep. You have a long journey ahead waiting for you."

"Alright, I'm going to bed now. Goodnight, mom and dad," Alexander said with a yawn laying his head down on his pillow.

"Good night, son," Riley said, turning off the light and closing the door as she and her husband left the room.

'Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever. I show Mitsuki which one of us will be the world's greatest Pokemon master.' He thought as he drifted off to sleep.
