Alexander and Mitsuki sat in silence, looking out of the train window as the train whooshes past trees and road. Alexander couldn't help but wonder what kind of Pokemon he and Mitsuki would encounter here in Kanto.

"Hey Mitsuki, I can't wait to get to Kanto," Alexander said as he looked over at his best friend.

"Well, we won't be there for another few hours, Alexander," Mitsuki replied.

"I know that, mister, obvious, but even so, it makes me more excited to be in a different region in a few hours!"

"You have almost as much energy as Natalie," Mitsuki stated."After we get to the first gym in the place called Pewter City, I'm going my separate way. I miss traveling with you, but I can't let you have too much of a look at my training because I plan on beating you every time we battle," He gave Alexander a close eye smile.

"Keep dreaming, Mitsuki. If anyone going win every time, it's going to be," Alexander stated.

"You're the one dream why I sate the truth of the matter."

Alexander rolled his eyes at Mitsuki's usually calm and matter-of-fact tone, before he closed his eyes, deciding to take a nap as he waited for the train to arrive in Kanto.

A couple of hours later, Alexander woke up to the train making a sudden spot. He opened his eyes to see such beautiful scenery of a large city up ahead of the train station.

"Good afternoon, everyone! We have arrived in at Viridian City here in the Kanto Region!" The conductor announced as the train's doors opened for people to get off.

"Wow, this city is huge!" Alexander announced as he and Mitsuki got off the train.

"Sure is anyway. We need to figure out how to get to Pallet Town from here," Mitsuki said, taking out a purple pokegear and looking at the map of Kanto installed on it.

"Which way do we need to go from here?" Alexander asked as Mitsuki looked at the map.

"It just straight ahead from here. We go through Route 1, and then we should reach Pallet Town, where Professor Oak's lab is located," Mitsuki said, reading the map.

"Well then, let's get going," Alexander announced as he started walking in the direction leading to Pallet Town.

"Right on the way, we will probably encounter lots of different Pokemon," Mitsuki stated.

"That is true, and after we get the information on the Kanto, we can go catch some on the way to the first gym."

Mitsuki nodded as he and Alexander continued making their way to Pallet Town. As they passed a large red building that was the Pokemon Center. Alexander ended up bumping into someone.

He looked up to see a girl who looked around the age of ten years old with short pink hair. She was wearing a light green shirt with what seemed like a blue flower on it with purple shorts, a light blue headband, and a green bow on it. To top it off, she had dark green boats and a dark blue side bag.

"Hello, there. Are you okay?" She politely said as she looked at Alexander.

"Hello, and my bad, I wasn't watching where I was going. My friend and I were making are our way to Professor Oak's lab," Alex said as he apologized to the girl.

"It's okay, and you're going the right way. I actually just came from Pallet Town a few hours ago. It's the large building on the hill with a windmill," She said while holding a small green quadrupled amphibian Pokemon.

"Thank you, my best friend is just excited about our first journey," Mitsuki said.

"That's understandable. I have been feeling the same way myself starting my journey today," She replied.

"Cool, by the way, what is that Pokemon?" Alex asked, looking at the Pokemon in her arm.

"Oh, this is my partner Bulbasaur also known as Ceaser. He is a very friendly and cute Pokemon."  

"A Bulbasaur that is an interesting Pokemon looks like it's a grass type," Mitsuki said.

"Yeah, he is got him from Professor Oak as my starter Pokemon," She explained.

"Cool, my best friend over here starter a grass type as well from our home region," Alex said.

"Really, that's cool anyway. I was just on my way to the Pokemon Center to register for the Pokemon league. My name is Raven, by the way. However, most of my friends call me Sakura because of my hair color," She introduced herself, sending both boys a bright smile.

"Alexander, but just Alex is okay nice to meet you."

"Mitsuki."

"Well, see you around. We should get going," Alex said.

"Yeah, catch you around, and remember it's the big building on the hill with the windmill," Raven said as she waved bye to Alex and Mitsuki before she walked into the Pokemon Center.

Alex and Mitsuki then continued making their way to Route 1, which led to Pallet Town.

Alexander and Mitsuki, we're walking through Route 1, where they saw lots of bird Pokemon flying above them and even a few monkey-looking Pokemon.

After what was probably about at least an hour or two of walking through the Route leading to Pallet Town, they spotted a couple of houses in the town called Pallet Town.

They then spotted a large building up on a hill and started walking towards it. As they realize that it was the building Raven was talking about. After a good fifteen minutes, they reached the door of the lab.

Mitsuki then knocked on the door on the door. After a couple of minutes, a boy around the age of eighteen years old. He had short black or olive green hair and brown eyes.  He had on a shirt sleeve green shirt with a dark green border on it, dark red shorts, an orange headband, white socks, and purple and orange tennis shoes with white soles.

"Hello, can I help you guys?" He asked.

"We're here to see Professor Oak," Alex said.

"I see; follow me; he is inside in the back, working on his research," The boy said, leading Alex and Mitsuki inside the building.

Alex and Mitsuki walked into the back room, where they saw a man in his sixties who had on a white lab coat and was sitting down at a computer.

"Professor Oak, there are two boys here to see you," The boy announced, catching the professor's attention as he turned around and saw Alex and Mitsuki.

"Ah, who might you two boys be?" Professor Oak asked.

"The name is Alex, and this is my best friend, Mitsuki. We're both from New Bark Town, and Professor Elm told us to come here for information on the Pokemon here in Kanto," Alex said.

"That can be arranged. Just hand me your Pokedex to Tracey, and I will just place them into the slot here next to my computer," Professor Oak said.

"Your Pokedex, please," The boy now known as Tracey said, holding out his hands.

"Here," Alex and Mitsuki said, handing Tracey their Pokedex.

Tracey then walks over toward Professor Oak and hands him both of the Pokedex.

"Thanks, Tracey," Professor Oak said, placing one of the pokedex in the slot."So if Professor Elm sent you, I take it you both are from Johto," He said.

"Yes, we just started our journey this morning. The two of us also decided to have our first journey in the Kanto region to enter the Indigo League," Mitsuki stated.

"The Indigo, so then you're both doing gym battles," Tracey said.

"Yes, ever since I watched the Silver Conference years ago. It has been my dream to become a Pokemon trainer who can one day beat the trainer known as Ash Ketchum!" Alex said with a smile. "That battle with Charizard and Blaziken was incredible, two powerful fire types who wouldn't back down until Charizard went down."

"I see, so you're a fan of Ash," Professor Oak smiled."Is that the same for you as well, Mitsuki?"

"To be honest, I feel like he might have won if he chose his moves differently," Mitsuki stated.

"Wait, you know Ash Ketchum!?" Alex asked, surprised.

Tracey and Professor Oak both chuckled.

"Yes, he is actually from Pallet Town," Professor Oak replied.

"Yeah, the Professor, the one who gave him his first Pokemon Pikachu," Tracey replied. "He recently just went away to the Kalos Region."

"Awesome, I don't think I even heard of that region, but who knows, maybe I will go there someday," Alex said.

"Maybe you will. Here both of your Pokedex now have information on all of the Pokemon here in Kanto," Professor Oak said, handing them back their pokedex. "I wish you the hot of luck on your journey to enter the Indigo League."

"Thank you so much."

Alex and Mitsuki waved bye to Tracey and Professor Oak and headed out of the lab, and off to begin their new journey in the Kanto Region.
