I was walking with Hinata to the training grounds after going to her house to pick her up, with Kimi sitting on top of my shoulder. We finally made it to the training grounds. I stood next to Hinata and Shino while Kiba was on the other side of Shino.

"Okay team 8 we're going to go get a mission," Kurenai-sensei said as she starts walking.

"I hope it not another stupid D-Rank mission!" Kiba shouted annoyed.

"If it is you should still accept it why because all missions are important," Shino said.

"Shino right Kiba so shut up and stop complaining about it for once," I said.

"Okay. No starting a fight," Kurenai-sensei said as we continue walking.

Kiba groaned continue walking.

We made it to the Hokage office and stood in front of him. We watched as he looked through the D- ranked missions. I watched as an irk mark formed on Kiba's forehead, and then he snapped.

"Listen here you old man, I refuse to do another D-ranked mission!" He snapped.

My eyes went wide and I covered Kiba's mouth.

"Kiba be quiet. I'm so sorry Lord hokage," I said.

"To honest Lord hokage. My team has been doing good on their missions and training. I believe they may be ready to take on a harder mission," Kurenai said.

"Okay if you believe they're ready. I will give you something harder," The Hokage said looking at the missions.

Kiba removed my hand and had a big grin on his face. I glared at him Hinata looked at me nervously. I then looked at Shino and saw him shake his head.

"I want you to go relocate a pack of wolves that recently appeared not that far from the village, and relocate them to the place written on this scroll," the hokage said holding a scroll.

Kurenai sensei nodded and took the scroll.

"Go home and pack. Meet me at the gates in half an hour," she said and we nodded.

Most of us went separate ways and to go pack. Expect me and Kiba since we live together being siblings and all.

Once I got home I went straight to my room. I packed my bag a Kimi carried multiple things over to me to put in the bag. I picked up my bag and patted Kimi on the head. I then stood and place up on my left shoulder and put my bag on my back.

I then walked downstairs and head downstairs to see my mom.

"Where are you heading to?" She asked me.

"We're going to relocate a pack of wolves that have been seen near the villages," I replied.

My mom walked over to me and hugged me.

"Okay be careful out there and make sure your brother doesn't do anything reckless, " she said.

"Don't worry mom I keep him safe. He might be annoying but he still my brother," I said hugging her back.

She let me go and gave me some food pills just and dog food just in case  Kimi needs it to replenish her energy.

"Kiba come on before I leave  you behind!" I shouted as my mom and sister walked me to the door.

"Coming!" Kiba shouted running down the stairs.

We then both left the compound and meet up with our team at the gate. Once everyone was there we left the village to begin our search for the pack of wolves.

After a little while of walking, Kurenai sensei had us stop walking to give us her orders.

"Okay everyone I want you to use your different skills to help find the wolves," she said.

"Understand," We all said.

I increased my sense of smell to try and smell for the wolves. My brother did the same. While Hinata used her Bakuguan and Shino his insects.

I sniffed the air could smell what almost seems like wet fur.

"I picked up something," I said.

"I-I did too," Hinata stuttered.

"What about your insects Shino and Kiba did you pick up anything?" Kurenai sensei asked.

"Yes, my insects seem to be sensing something from that large forest head, why because something clearly over there," Shino said.

"That where I was smelling something that smells like wet fur," I said.

"I-it also was I saw what looked like a wolf but it was a small one," Hinata said.

"I also smell something but it was hard to describe the smell," Kiba said.

'Because he doesn't train. So his sense of smell isn't as good as mine,' I thought rolling my eyes.

"He an idiot," Kimi said.

"Don't be rude Kimi but it true," I said.

"Hey don't call me an idiot Kimi!" Kiba growled hearing Kimi's comment. Kimi just pretended not to hear him.

"Let's go we have a mission to complete. So no fighting," Kurenai sensei said.

We nodded and continue walking in the direction of the target we all picked up on.

We were finally getting close to the wolf we all picked up on all.

"Okay, so we don't completely know if the cub alone the older wolves could just be hiding in a place that they could be located. So to be safe don't get -" I did hear the rest of Kurenai-sensei sentences since Kimi started growling and ran off,  so I went after her.

Kurenai's P.O.V

"Split up," I finished as I watched Emiyo run off chasing her growling dog.

I sighed and shook my head. These Inuzuka twins are a handful.

"Hey sensei where did my sister go?" Kiba asked.

"She went after Kimi who ran off growling," I said.

"T-that's odd Kimi never growls, unless something wrong. I hardly have seen her growl since I know Emiyo and Kimi," Hinata said.

"We should go after them and see what Kimi ran off, why because we're teammates," Shino said.

"Shino right let's go find them," I said signaling the kids to follow me.

'Emiyo is said to be considered the most talented to come from her clan, but she still a genin even if she might be smarter and stronger than some of the other genin believe she was second best after the Uchiha.' I thought.

**

Emiyo's P.O.V

I finally caught up with Kimi and picked her. I sighed and realized I was separated from my team. I sniffed the air to try and find my teammate's scent, but a sense of blood was blocking it.

"I can't find their scents, this smell of blood too strong, can you smell them, Kimi?" I asked.

"No, but that smells why I ran off it smells like an animal's blood," Kimi said sniffing the air.

"I see well we can look for the source while we try to find our team," I said as II put her on my shoulder and was about to walk off until I heard something in the bushes.

'What that?' I thought looking at the bushes and pulling out a kunai just in case it was an enemy.

I then saw something white walk out and my eyes widen when I saw it was a white wolf cub with blue eyes.

'It the wolf cub and it seems like its fur is soaking wet. So it was the wet fur smell. I picked it up but why is it soaked,' I thought slowly walking over to it.
