S/N's POV

I was really nervous. My big sister and big brother were both evil, and gone, and now the team was a little suspicious of me. Just a little, thankfully, but still suspicious. It wasn't a good feeling.

I wandered the castle after the meeting alongside B/F/N, the only one who wasn't suspicious of me.

B/F/N was nervous for me, as well. He was also just nervous in general. He was in a new place with people who could hurt his best friend. Well, according to Seto, they'd HAVE to hurt Sky...brine and Y/Nbrine in order to administer the potion and have it work. And the potion wasn't even ready yet!

Kill him. It will make your father very~ happy....

I paused in my walk and grimaced, putting a hand to my head.

B/F/N also stopped and turned to me. "How are you feeling?" He asked worriedly.

Partially wanting you dead and trying to fight it. "I-I'm okay. The voices are just...persistent."

"What are they saying...?"

I looked away. "They want you dead. They say it would make Father happy if I did so. But I'm not gonna. Not at all."

B/F/N smiled weakly. "Maybe sleeping will stop the voices. It's been a long day and night for all of us."

As if on cue, I yawned. I then chuckled. "Okay, okay."

I went to my room and B/F/N took the spare one next to mine.

I had a very tossy-and-turny night. My sleep was plagued with nightmares of me slaughtering my newfound friends alongside my family.

And worst of all, I found it fun.

I didn't want to find it fun or exciting. It was terrible!

Were these nightmares going to plague me throughout however long we'd be preparing and fighting my family...?

This is going to traumatize me if this continues....

I eventually got up, feeling as tired as when I went to bed.

I trudged out of my room to see B/F/N looking worriedly at me. "You don't look very rested...."

"I don't FEEL very rested either. I had horrific nightmares all night." I muttered, rubbing my eyes.

"What were they about?" He asked as we began our wandering of the castle.

"Well, I'll let you...surmise? about it with this. The voices have a LOT more control over my subconscious than I'd thought, so the nightmares were...vivid."

"Oh...I see. That's unfortunate. Are the voices bothering you now?"

I listened for a moment and shook my head slightly. "Just a feeling, no voices...for now."

"That's something, at least."

We continued making small talk as we wandered the castle.

We passed by people here and there as we walked, though no one said anything to us. Eventually, we left the castle and entered Sky's sector, the Sky Army.

I started feeling better as I talked with B/F/N, acting more like the 10-year-old I was supposed to be rather than the adult I'd been acting like. Growing up in the Nether was dangerous, even as a child of Herobrine. Growing up alone for the most part, too, forced me to have to care for myself with very little help from Father as he tended to care more about his experiments than his children...unless they were evil like him.

It's rather sad, really....

Suddenly, a cloaked figure blocked our path and, without a word, grabbed my arm and started running away from B/F/N.

I yelped. "H-Hey, what the Nether?! Let go of me!!"

I tried stopping, but the speed we were going at forced me to run with him to not fall on my face. We dashed by several people as we ran.

"Somebody help me, please!!" I yelled, looking around desperately.

I could hear B/F/N yelling my name from somewhere behind us, but he wasn't very close.

We were nearing the gates out of the Budder Kingdom when several Recruit guards blocked our path finally.

The mysterious kidnapper slowed and threw me to the ground roughly, pulling out a diamond sword and going at the Recruits.

I had what little breath I still had knocked out of me and winced heavily, trying to suck in more air for my depleted lungs. That sudden sprint took a lot out of me.

B/F/N suddenly ran past me, an iron sword in his hands. He joined the Recruits in fighting off this surprisingly fast and adept sword fighter.

The kidnapper suddenly did a really cool backflip out of the circle they had found themselves in and stood over me, looking down at me. I gasped in fear.

They had been wearing sunglasses, but the quick fighting they had been doing made the sunglasses fly off at some point, revealing their soulless white eyes. It lit up their face beneath the cloak, also revealing their S/A symbol. It was one of Y/N's N/F, though I didn't recognize them.

The N/F grabbed my arm and yanked me up to my feet before putting the sword to my throat. "Alright, everyone relax or the girl gets it."

I froze in fright after having grabbed his sword arm. I felt a surge of adrenaline course through me, though it had nowhere to go. I couldn't move or I'd get my neck cut open.

The Recruits and B/F/N paused, all of them scowling at the N/F.

I shut my eyes in fear, the adrenaline suddenly surging higher. It felt like it was going through my hand that gripped the N/F's arm.

The N/F suddenly tensed and dropped the sword, shaking slightly. "W-What the...? W-Where am I...?"

I peeked open my eyes and slowly pushed his arm away before running to B/F/N and hugging him tightly.

B/F/N hesitated before hugging me back, looking behind me at the suddenly confused N/F. "S/N...wh-what did you just do?"

"Huh?" I turned around and gasped.

The N/F was looking around with bright blue eyes, the soulless white in them before completely gone.

I was very confused. Weren't all the N/F supposed to be evil because they were connected to Y/N? Why was he suddenly not evil anymore?

I thought back to that strange adrenaline surge I had felt in my hand and pondered a thought. Did...did I just push the evil from him?

Was I unlocking powers this early?! Or was something else going on...?

The Recruit guards surrounded the N/F, pointing their swords at him. The N/F panicked slightly and quickly raised his arms in surrender. "D-Don't hurt me, please! I-I don't know what just happened or where I am!"

I looked back at B/F/N. "I...think I just...pushed the evil from him? I dunno what just happened, either."

I went over behind one of the Recruits and peeked around him in a scared child fashion. "How did you even get in the Budder Kingdom, sir?"

The N/F looked down at me, his arms still raised. "I don't know...one moment I'm at home, the next I have a diamond sword to the throat of a child! Are you okay?"

I nodded. "Just a bit startled, really. How do you feel?"

He pondered the question for a moment. "I feel fine, just confused."

I looked at the Recruits surrounding him. "I think he's okay now, you don't need to threaten him with your swords anymore."

The Recruits looked at me weird. "Umm...kid, I don't think you know what you're talking about. He just threatened to kill you!"

"Yeah, but I fixed him, see? His eyes, they're not white anymore."

"That doesn't mean he's suddenly good...and what's with that strange symbol on his cheek? What army is that supposed to be?"

I guess no one has told anyone else outside the team about the N/A Army.

I sighed. "That's the S/A, the symbol of the N/A Army. My big sister Y/N's army. It'd be nice if you could stop threatening him, he's okay. He wouldn't hurt anyone now."

The Recruits looked at each other before sheathing their swords. The N/F slowly lowered his arms, still tense. "I-I should probably get back to the base now...."

I widened my eyes and shook my head rapidly. "No, no, no, that's a BAD idea. The N/F are all in a state of evil at the moment. Going back in your reverted state would probably have them killing you, and Y/N would be very upset to lose even one of her N/F."

The N/F looked concerned.  "All of them?  Evil?  Was that what happened to me?"

I nodded.

He looked down.  "I apologize for anything that I did."

I went up to him and smiled.  "It wasn't you necessarily.  It was Father's influence."

He looked at me, as did the Recruits.  "Your father's influence?  Who...are you talking about?"

I winced.  "Ah, sorry, I suppose you don't really remember Y/N's whole speech about being Herobrine's child.  I'm her sister and also Herobrine's child.  Though I'm not evil."

The Recruits looked worriedly at each other.  "We remember what happened 4 years ago.  All the Recruits of Sky's army went evil just as Sky became Skybrine.  I guess that's what happened with this Y/N and her N/A Army?"

I looked to the one who spoke and nodded.

"But how is he not evil?  Did you really do something to make him not evil anymore?"

"I-I'm not sure.  I just felt a surge of adrenaline, or maybe it was power, course through me into the N/F...."

"We should see Seto about this."  B/F/N stated.

I looked at him and nodded before turning to the poor N/F who found himself without a home for now.  "What's your name, by the way?"  I asked him.

"I'm Wesley."  He replied, glancing at the guards that were still nearby before picking up and sheathing his sword.

I nodded slowly.  "Well, as you already heard, I'm S/N, and that's B/F/N.  Let's go see Seto!  He should probably be in the library reviewing how to make the special potion."

Wesley nodded.  I clapped my hands before grabbing Wesley's and running back to the castle.

Wesley chuckled, keeping up with my pace much easier than I did for him.  B/F/N followed easily, as well.

After a few minutes, we got to the library and unsurprisingly found Seto poring over several different books at once, flipping pages here and there as he searched for specific entries.

"Um, hey, Seto!"  I called, finally slowing down and letting go of Wesley's hand.

Seto looked over and smiled.  "Hey, S/N, hey, B/F/N!  Who's...wait, is that an N/F?"  He asked suddenly, looking concerned.

I nodded and explained what had happened.  "...and suddenly Wesley wasn't evil anymore, just very confused."  I finished.

Wesley looked very saddened to hear what he had done to me and everyone else.  He did seem a small bit relieved to hear that he hadn't hurt anyone, at least.

Seto pondered this information and looked at Wesley.  "So you have no recollection of what happened between when you were at the base and here?"

Wesley shook his head.  "None.  It was like I blinked and suddenly was here."

"Do you have any ideas on how in the Overworld you managed to bypass our guards and get in?"  Seto asked.

Wesley sighed.  "We train to be very stealthy, so all I can guess is that I snuck over the wall somewhere."

"We may need to increase the guards around the walls, then...especially at night."  Seto muttered.

He then looked at me.  "S/N, maybe your powers are starting to show.  Or maybe something activated them somehow?"

I shrugged.  "All I know that got 'activated' was that seal on my memories about Sky, although I can't say I ever really had any."

"Do you remember how that seal got broken?"

"I was playing with a sorcerer N/F, Rachel, I believe, when I scared her and she released a pulse of pink energy that hit me and knocked me out."

Seto hummed slightly.  "I don't think that would've activated your powers, but I don't know."

"I don't feel any different.  Just that surge of power when I was frightened and then back to normal."

"Maybe it only activated because you were frightened?  I really just don't know...."

"Well, onto other matters, what do we do about Wesley?  He definitely can't go back to the base now, he'll be killed."  B/F/N pondered.

"And I dunno where to stay or what to do...."  Wesley added.

"Well, for the time being, you can stay in the castle with us.  Aether knows we have enough rooms."  Seto said with a chuckle.  "And it'd be interesting to know any techniques you have.  The more we know about them, the more likely we'll be able to stop any more intrusions by the N/A Army."

I turned to Wesley and grinned.  "Looks like you'll be with us for a while!  I hope we won't annoy you too much."

"I should be worried about being a bother to you guys.  I'm not the strongest or stealthiest N/F there is, though I do consider myself up there.  Maybe I can trade information with some Doods or something.  I know they're considered the stealthiest around what with Ian's background and training."

Seto nodded.  "You go do that.  See how much better you all can become with some new information.  I have to start gathering some people to go out and get the remaining ingredients for these potions.  I'd get some of them myself, but..."  He looked down at the glowing bracelet on his wrist and scowled at it.  "...I'm a bit...hindered at the moment."

B/F/N perked up.  "I'd like to help in any way I can."

Seto smiled.  "Thanks, B/F/N, but I feel it'd be safer for you to stay here in the kingdom while the N/A Army is currently in the state it's in."

B/F/N sighed.  "Okay.  I suppose it is also partially my duty to protect S/N while Y/N is...out of commission.  Especially after today."

Wesley looked at B/F/N.  "I'll aid you in that endeavor after I discuss strategies with the Doods."

I grinned at Wesley and B/F/N.  It looked like I'd have some protectors just as Y/N did....

I just hoped no one else tried to kidnap me...that was scary....

I know no one reads these books anymore lol
