Y/N's POV
"Y/N, do you see that?" S/N asked, pointing in a seemingly random direction.
I looked in the direction she was pointing.
A bit of wood was sticking out of one of the trees strangely. And not natural tree wood. Wood planks.
"Yeah...I see it. Wanna go check it out?"
S/N nodded. She started pulling me towards it.
I giggled and ran with her to the...whatever it was.
We got to it and saw more wood planks sticking out.
"S/N, it's a treehouse!"
"Woah! Let's look for some ladders!" She exclaimed as she started pulling away.
"S/N, wait! We don't know if there is anyone in there! We have to be careful!"
S/N gave me a "Really?" look and looked up through the treeline. "Y/N, the sun is setting. We don't wanna be out when the monsters come out."
I sighed. "Yeah...while they won't get aggressive towards us like they do for normal Minecraftians, they're still loyal to Father and will probably take us back to him like they did me 4 years ago."
"Thank you for proving my point. Now come on!"
She started searching around the base of the tree.
I chuckled lightly under my breath and looked around, as well.
"Y/N, over here!" I heard S/N call.
I ran to her to see a ladder up into the tree.
It was just a couple feet from where we had been, but it was more of an indented set of ladders into a hidden hatch somewhere at the top.
"Camouflage ladders. Niiice...." I said as I looked at the ladders.
"Ok, admire them later. The sun is already below the horizon! We'll be out of light in a few minutes!"
I nodded and stuck my hands into the indents, climbing them a bit awkwardly.
I reached the top and pushed up as hard as I could.
The trapdoor flew open into the treehouse.
I climbed through and pulled S/N up, shutting the hatch behind her.
I sighed and dropped to the floor, sitting "criss-cross applesauce" as they say.
S/N sat next to me. "Do you wanna look around or just rest for the night?"
"Rest. Definitely rest. We just ran and climbed things more or less all day."
She giggled and sighed, laying on the floor. "Night-night...." She whispered before falling asleep almost instantly.
I smiled lightly and laid back, closing my eyes.

I awoke suddenly to hear the crunching sound of feet on grass.
I kept still and listened closely.
"Did you hear? The massster'sss daughter essscaped again."
A creeper. I'd recognize that hissing accent anywhere.
"Yesss. Apparently, ssshe essscaped with hisss younger daughter, asss well."
Another creeper.
"Well, we mussst keep an eye out for her, then."
"Absssolutely."
"Oh, the sssun is risssing. Let usss go into the cavesss for now."
The footsteps receded.
I laid still for a while until all was absolutely quiet and faint sunlight shone through the leaf-covered window.
"S/N...S/N~" I called quietly as I sat up, shaking her shoulder gently.
"No...no! Don't take her away again!" She cried as she bolted up, looking around. "Oh Notch...oh Notch...Y/N!" She glomped me.
She sobbed lightly into my chest as I held her. "Shh, S/N, it's ok, we're not in that horrible place anymore...."
It was a few minutes before she stopped crying. She pulled back, wiping her eyes. "Sorry...I just had a bad dream that they took you away again...."
"With hope, S/N, they'll never take me away again."
She sighed and stood up, holding a hand to me. I grabbed it and she pulled me up.
She let go rather slowly.
"What's up?"
"Can I...touch the skins...?" She asked quietly.
I froze for a moment at the request.
It was just weird to hear that. "S-Sure."
She reached out slowly and first touched the squid skin on my arm. "Woah...it's wet and smooth."
"I think it keeps itself wet involuntarily so it doesn't dry out since I don't live in water."
"So...it doesn't burn the ender skin?" She asked as she rubbed said skin that was connected to the squid skin.
"Not that I've noticed. Maybe the hostility of water to ender was neutralized since I'm not fully ender."
"The ender skin is a little bumpy. Not like scales, but goosebump-like. And the creeper skin feels, unsurprisingly, rough, kinda like unsmoothed leather. And then your skin is just...well, your skin."
I giggled as she pulled away. "The more you know. Now...let's search for some stuff to cover me up."
She nodded and we split, looking around the treehouse.
The inside was a lot bigger than it seemed from the outside. It actually looked kinda like a small base of operations.
It was quite dusty, as well, so it was safe to say that it hasn't been visited in a while.
There were a few beanbags here and there and a small fridge that clearly wasn't working anymore.
"Y/N, lookie! I found a cloak!" S/N exclaimed as she ran over to me.
I turned to her and looked at the large material in her hands.
It was a purple cloak that matched my sister's purple eyes.
I always wondered why she had purple eyes when Father has...well, technically no iris and Mother has...had E/C eyes.
The cloak was faded quite a bit, but it seemed large enough to cover my entire body from head to feet.
At least I could cover my skin. Now for my eyes....
"Perfect. Thanks, S/N!" I said happily as I took the cloak from her, slipping it on.
"Woah, the only thing I can see of you is your hands and eyes! And, uh, a bit of your face due to the light of your eyes."
I chuckled lightly. "Alright, let's see if we can find some gloves and sunglasses then."
I poked around the base for a while until I found some sunglasses under a small pile of budder ingots under a table.
What? I know a bit about Team Crafted! I did hear about them some around the N/A base, but...well, I'll get in depth about that later.
They were also a bit dusty and there was a slight crack in the left lens.
I dusted it off and put them on as I stood back up.
The slightly brighter lighting of the sun in the room dimmed, but I could still see fairly well, even with the light of my eyes reflecting a bit on the inside of the sunglasses.
S/N ran over again with something in her hands. "Woah, now I can't your eyes or face! Here, I found some weird gloves."
She handed me a pair of blue gloves.
I examined them a bit and put them on. They fit quite well, though it was a tiny bit hard to move my hands in them due to some stiffness. From what, I don't know.
"Here, I also found a couple glass water bottles of, well, water and a couple bars of food that were wrapped up."
She handed me the water and a bar that was labeled "granola." She had one labeled "protein."
Weird.
We ate in silence until we finished. I grabbed the trash from the bars and threw them in an empty basket that I assumed was the trashcan. I pocketed the glass bottles in case we came across a stream.
I walked around a bit so I could keep my cloak surrounding me at all times. Once I worked that out, I turned to S/N. "You ready?"
She nodded. "You know where the base is, right?"
I looked at her blankly. "Really...? Yes, I do. It's hidden so Father couldn't stumble across it accidentally. The last thing I need is for him to control me through threat of killing my N/F if I didn't listen. It's a bit from here, but we should make it before nightfall."
I went to the trapdoor and opened it, climbing down.
Once I reached the bottom, I beckoned S/N down.
She climbed down slowly, closing the trapdoor when she could. Once she reached the ground, she sighed. "I'm never gonna live in a treehouse. I'd die trying to get out of it."
I laughed a bit and grabbed her hand. "Lez go find my N/F, shall we?"
