[Nobody's pov]

"What did you guys do when I was not here???" Dawn asked curiously.  Gon hummed and explained everything. "No fair!>< I didn't get to fight! >□<" Dawn whined pouting.
"I doubt you can fight. Sure you can do magic tricks but fighting is not suitable for a small girl like you." Leorio said teasing her. Dawn glared at him.

[Dawns pov]

"Should I kick you again?" I asked sweetly when I heard Leorio say that. He immediately shook his head frantically. I giggled and continued to walk on.

Time skip...

After running for a few minutes we reached a huge battlefield.  "Hm...are we gonna fight????" I questioned .
"Running for 30 minutes to come back here. ..." Leorio grumbled.  They had been here? Then we have been going around in circles. 😑....

"We should have gone downstairs. " killua said obviously teasing the old man. "SHUT UP!! I remind you that you were satisfied with the choice we made!!!!" Leorio roared. "Jeez...what a loud mouth..." I grumbled.

I sighed and followed them out.
Now that I think about it...what should I do when they ask me about myself....will they get scared of me?....I hope everything remains the same after I tell them..that I'm a dragon...I looked at them from behind. I'm gonna miss them..if they leave me..

"...awn? ?Dawn?DAWN!!!" Somebody yelled and waved their hand in front of me snapping me back to reality.

"Y-Yeah??" I blinked a few times to find Killua in front of me. "You suddenly stopped walking." He said. "Are you alright?" He added squinting at me.  I nodded. "I'm alright~ just got lost in my thoughts :p hehehehe" I put on a fake smile . Luckily he didn't press it anymore.

[Killua pov]

I was walking when I noticed dawn stopping behind us . I looked back only to find her staring at us . What made me feel a bit surprised were her eyes  . They looked empty and dull . It was completely different from her bright ones. What happened???
"Dawn?" I called her but she didn't answer.

I scowled and walked near her. "Dawn??? Oi!" Again she didn't respond. Her expression was gradually changing. From blank to a sad one then again to blank. I waved my hand in front of her eyes. "Dawn? DAWN!" I called louder causing others to turn back and stare at us. My loud voice snapped her back to reality .
"Y-Yeah? " she stuttered. "You suddenly stopped." I told her causing her to blink. "Are you alright?" I asked squinting at her. The dull and vacant expression had completely disappeared . "I'm alright~ just got lost in my thoughts :p hehehehehe~" I could tell the smile on her face was a fake one but she was not lying either. Just what were you thinking Dawn....
I stared at her for a few seconds and walked on . She followed behind.

[Midoris pov]

Dawn......I looked at my little twin worried. It's quite true ....we were never together...and I don't know what you had to face in her life...but now I'm here. ...I'll be you support dawn. So don't feel lonely~
I flashed her my toothy grin and she smiled in return.

[No one's pov]

Little did they knew that they had less than 50 minutes by the time they reached a door.  A signboard was attached to it.
"   Door:
   ○- open
   x- do not open"

"Let's hurry! We don't have much time left!" Leorio huffed tired already. What's up with ○ and x??? Dawn raised a brow at it completely forgetting that Gon had explained about it to her a few hours ago. "Well we obviously want to open that door!!!" Leorio said and pressed ○.

Everyone pressed ○ except for one.
The computer showed
"04×1". A tic mark appeared on Leorios head.

He glared at tonpa and caught his collar angrily. "YOU'RE GONNA STOP DOING THIS ALREADY!!! I'm really fed up with you!!!😡" he roared at tonpa. Dawn sweat dropped. "But I pressed ○." Tonpa said annoyed. "Stop lying!!!!!" He yelled at tonpa again.

"Um.....sorry Leorio! !! I'm the one that accidentally pushed the x button..." Gon said guiltily . "Ah, well you were the one??" Leorio calmed down but tonpa didn't look like he was done with him yet. "Wait a minute Leorio.  Give me your apology for that in the right way.  I won't let this pass." He stated grumpily.

[Dawns pov]

When did tonpa became so full of manners?. ...-.- I shook my head at them and let them bicker. Their bickering grew to the point they were ready to pounce on each other. Gon and Kurapika tried to stop them. I glared at them. For some reason I felt short tempered right now. I walked up to them and smashed my fist on the ground cracking it and gaining their attention. "Stop bickering like 3 year olds. .." I glared at them. Leorio and tonpa gulped  .
I left them terrified. Bunch of idiots.
"To inform you people we have less than 30 mins. So hurry up !.." I said😬😠 and walked on. They immediately followed.

We reached another choice point. The signboard read
"LAST JUNCTION: Now is the time for your last choice. Are you ready to be acknowledged of it?"

last junction huh...

Everyone pressed yes except one and I'm pretty sure it's tonpa . Leorio was about to bash him but Kurapika stopped him saying we don't have any time for all this nonsense.
Suddenly the statue spoke. No the speaker inside the statue spoke. "Before everyone can make a choice..non contestants please step inside the yellow door." I looked at Midori and Mika. "I'll see you guys once we are out of this maze~" I said and they nodded. Midori opened the door and entered inside , Mika following her next . "Good luck you guys!!^_^ and don't die!!" she waved and the door closed. I sweatdropped. What a funny sis..i thought sarcastically.

The speaker then again spoke.
"Well choose one of the two doors . There's two roads. The first allows 5 people to go but is long and difficult.
The other one allows only 3 people but is short and easy. Concretely it's impossible.  Even hurrying to exit the first road in less than 45 hours. Taking the second one , you can reach the end in less than 3 minute." I gasped at that. Oh no....I looked at others and they looked shocked as well.
"Push ○ for the long and difficult way. Push x for the short and easy way.
If you push on x , the door will open as soon as two of you give up and make themselves prisoners. They will use the chains on the walls. They have to stay here until the time is over! !!" The speaker continued. Two...have to..give up?......I looked at everyone. They all looked tense. But...we came all the way here..together...

"Well.....it's better to tell you this now, I'll push on x....without having any intention of staying here." Leorio said causing my eyes to widen.

"No matter the way I'll be one of the three that goes on." He stated firmly.
I stared at him. He's so..determined to become a hunter...there's no way anyone would wanna back up now...but at this rate they will start fighting...think dawn think!!!
"The judges have planned everything . They prepared weapons from all over the world and from all times. Does that mean they want us to choose fighting??"..Leorio said eyeing the weapons.

I clenched my hands into fists.
"I'll push on○. We came here all together , so I want us to exit together." Gon suddenly spoke .
I looked at him. "Gon...."I took a deep breathe. "I'm with Gon. I'll push on ○. He's right. We carved our way till here together.  There's no way anyone's gonna stay behind or we are fighting. I know it's risky ...but I'm sure we can overcome this hurdle without having anyone eliminated...or fighting!" I said firmly. Gon looked happy that I agreed with him.

"Hey you both. That's not only risky, that's impossible . We don't even have an hour. We have no other choice than the short way. The question is who's gonna pass. Obviously I count on being pass. So if none of us have any intention of giving up ....I see only the solution by fighting." Killua said seriously. "But!-" I started but leorio interrupted. 

"No Dawn. This is not a dream world where everything works on magic and everything  is easy. This is reality. " Leorio said sharply . "There has to be a way!!" I argued. There's no way they are gonna fight each other!!  "Dawns right! There has to be a way! So please let's try to think together !!" Gon said.

"For the long and difficult way choose ○. For the short and each as way choose x." The speaker repeated again.

The tension increased.

Suddenly sharp pain shook my whole body. I looked at the source of it only to find tonpa holding an axe . Blood poured  out of my wound. Darn..I wasn't on my guard...shit. .... Luckily i didnt get cut into 2 pieces. But the wound was too big and deep. I grunted in pain. "Dawn?!!!" The others exclaimed and I felt a murderous aura from killua. "There's no way I'm gonna stay behind. Besides you cheeky kid! You did nothing but tag along and increase the tension! You should be the one to give up!!" Tonpa said swinging the axe. I dodged and jumped far from him.  "Stop it Tonpa!" Leorio growled.
My legs wobbled. But tonpas word pierced in my mind...He's. ..right...I did nothing but become a burden on them......but..I can't give..up...ugh...my mana isn't enough to heal this big wound......

What should I do?.....

[I sincerely apologise for the very very late update. My exams have just finished now the updates are gonna be very fast because I have 3 months holiday. 😅 Next chapter coming tomorrow~~]
