The two rode until they joined the group and as much as she wanted to deny it, she was happy that all of them were alive and well, even if they were grumpy most of the time and smelly, they sure provided entertainment for the ginger woman as she tried to comprehend what they were saying even if it was just cursing,  as they reached the rest of the Scotts, Jamie groaned lightly about his shoulder leading the brunette to say "Serves you right. Probably torn your muscles as well as bruising. You should have let me have a look at it when we weren't moving..." her discontent was clear in her face and every man could see it, "Well, wasna much of a choice. If I dinna move my shoulder, I'd never have moved anything else ever again. I can handle a single redcoat with one hand. Maybe even two. Not three. Besides, you can fix it for me again when we get to where we're going." Jamie told her, bragging a bit about his skills which the ginger rolled her eyes at, "That's what you think. I should just let you suffer for disobeying my orders." she told him.

"Here's to you, lass. For tipping us to the villains in the rocks and giving us a wee bit o' fun!" one of them said as he drank from a small satchel, Bonnie's throat instantly complained about it's dryness and she knew that at that moment she didn't care what was in there, she would drink it none the less, the fuller man passed the satchel to Jamie who took a swing at it before placing it in front of the woman, "Have a wee nip. It willna fill your belly, but will make you forget you're hungry." he whispered in her ear, his hot breath hitting her neck, she could smell the faint alcohol in his breath and without second thought grabbed the bottle and pulled it to her lips taking a not so small nor gentle swing it at, shocking all the men slightly, although they knew that after a day like this, even the most innocent and pure would drink from the devil's bowl.

The group rode until it was night, all trying to keep awake, Bonnie , who had the chance to fall asleep with no problem was simply looking around admiring everything, suddenly as if he was being slowly pulled by a wire Jamie started going over, "Stop! He's going over!" She called out trying to pull Jamie back up while trying to to hurt him when he completely fell over, falling on his bad side. Wasting no time the ginger threw herself off the horse landing on her feet and rushed to his side, she tried to pull him up and with the help of a few other men, she pulled him to a small slope, Bonnie wasted no time in pushing the clothes off his shoulder, her worries rising when she heard his breathing slow.

"Gunshot wound. The idiot could have said something. It's a clean exit.I think the round's gone straight through the muscle. I don't think it's serious, but he's lost a lot of blood. It'll need to be disinfected before I can dress it properly." she said without thinking as she checked for more injuries. "Disinfect?" one of the men questioned making the ginger turn her head slowly to him and say slowly as if she were talking to a child. "Yes, it must be cleaned of dirt to protect it from germs." "Germs?" another questioned annoying the woman even more. "Just get me some Acohol" everyone sprung into action, quickly enough she ahd a bottle of whatever they were drinking in front of her.

The ginger woman grabbed it and poured some onto the wound making the passed out man wake up speaking in Gaelic. "Welcome back." she told him with a slightly angry tone, "I'm all right, just a wee bit dizzy." Jamie said while looking at the ginger woman who glared at him fiercely "You are anything but alright! Can you tell how bad you were bleeding? You're lucky you're not dead. Brawling and fighting and throwing yourself off horses. You might have completely and utterly ruined your arm, oh if you were my son, you would be grounded for the rest of your life!" she told him wiggling a finger in his face.

Bonnie pulled a handkerchief from her sleeve, drenching it in alcohol before pressing it against the wound. "Hold still. Easy." she told him as he winced in shock and pain. Once the wound was covered she reached up and pulled the ribbon from her hair, the only thing keeping her hair in place seeing as all the bobby pins had fallen from her hair-do, allowing her long flowing ginger locks to crash against her back and cascade elegantly, "All right. Lift him up." she told the scott that was kneeling closest to Jamie, who was still staring at Bonnie, if she didn't look like a completely highlander woman she did now, her hair was as orange as the sunset at least that's how Jamie would describe it.

The other scott pulled Jamie up and against him and watched as Bonnie tried to tie the large ribbon, key word being tried, she quickly grew annoyed and snapped "Come on, you goddamn bloody bastard." "I've never heard a woman use such language in my life." Dougal said shocked eliciting more anger from the ginger, "Hm. Your husband should tan your hide for you, woman." the one who had given the ginger the bottle with alcohol said before another continued "St.Paul says, 'let a woman be silent'" Bonnie instantly stood up in anger and turned to face them, her head snapping so quickly it nearly gave her a whiplash, "You can mind your own goddamn bloody business, and so can St.Paul. If I wish to speak like a freaking sailor, I will and as for husband I am very much single if you must be informed." she growled at him, her fingertips suddenly becoming hot as the air suddenly became thick.

Taking a deep breath, she turned to the injured man and told him in a slightly much calmer tone "And if you move so much as a single muscle while I'm tying this bandage, I will make you wish you were never born." "Ah. Threats, is it? And after I shared my drink with you." Jamie teased with a small smirk, "We've 15 miles to go yet. Five hours at least, if not seven. We'll stay long enough for you to stem the bleeding and dress his wound, no more than that." Dougal said walking back to his horse, "He needs rest. I can ride a horse well enough if we keep a steady pace." Bonnie told him as she finished her work.

"Randall. The officer you you encountered. He won't give up so easily. He commands the redcoats hereabouts. He'll have sent patrols out in every direction by now." Jamie started as he looked at the ginger beauty next to him, Bonnie traced his shoulder skin with her fingertips ghost like allowing her magic to course through the contact and ease the pain as she paid attention to his words. "I canna stay here long." he finished, "You know Randall? Black Jack Randall, that is?" She questioned, disdain for the man that had wished to rape her, "Aye. I won't risk you or anyone else being taken prisoner by that man." Jamie told her, his eyes glued on hers, "If ye canna fix me up well enough to ride, you'll be leaving me here with a loaded pistol, so I may determine my own fate." he added making the ginger scoff at the idea.

"Might've well told me you were shot before you fell off the horse." She scolded him, changing the subject, "Didn't hurt much at the time." the Scott told her, "I'm sure it didn't but you know, I rather not have to have you faint again anytime soon." she teased standing up and extending her hand to him. Jamie took it and almost as if magic Bonnie pulled him onto his feet without breaking a sweat. "Thank you, Sassenach. Truly." the told her, his accent sending chills down her spine. "All right, well, on your horse, soldier." she teased him and walked to the horse, getting on effortlessly.
