After riding for god know how many hours on horse, Bonnie was glad when they finally came to a halt in front of a small cottage, Bonnie hadn't forgotten her necklace but she knew that she couldn't turn back now, her mother's necklace was probably already in the next town much to the ginger's dismay. The man slipped off the horse and Bonnie did the same the opposite way, Bonnie was never one to be the damsel in distress, ever since she was 12 she changed that.

The Scott reached for her upper arm but when he noticed the cocked eyes brown on the girl's emotionless face he quickly lowered it, he nodded his head to the door and the ginger wasted no time in getting to the door, her hair and clothes were completely soaked and clung slightly onto her legs, which irritated her. Pushing the door open Bonnie stepped inside the small cottage along with the Scott only to find a group of Highlanders inside, all who stood up but three, some started to speak in Gaelic and Bonnie's mind instantly translated it but she cared not to pay attention to it, instead she looked at the figures that were seated near the fireplace, one who's arm wasn't in place and looked like he was in pain.

His back was turned to her but even like this she felt drawn to the mysterious ginger man, the man seated right to him suddenly got up intrigued by what the Scott that had brought her in was saying and walked to her, Bonnie stood tall in her 5'5 3/4" height, truth be told she was probably the smallest in the room but her fierce look intimidated most of the people in the room. Grabbing Bonnie by the arm, the one who had stood up recently said as he pulled her to the fire light. "Let's have a look at you, then, lass."

Bonnie bit down the snarky comment that was at the tip of her tongue and said instead "I trust you're able to see me now." the sarcasm and irony in her words were heard by everyone and even made the injured mad smile slightly trough the pain. "What's your name?" the same man questioned making everyone look at her questioningly, in the brief second she stood quiet she studied the man and looked into his eyes, trying to see if she should indeed trust him or not, once decided she lifted her head even more and said "Bonnie. Bonnie Anne Duchannes." once againshe bit back the snarky comment that pleaded to escape, "You said you found her?" the man questioned the Scott that had rescued her.

"Aye." he started before she mumbled "More like saved me.", her words however seemed to not have been heard by anyone but the injured Highlander, who frowned at the fire in front of him. "She was having words with a certain Captain of dragoons with whom we are acquaint'. There seemed to be some question as to whether the lady was or was not a whore." the Scott that had found her said making Bonnie scoff slightly and roll her light brown camouflaged eyes, "And what was the lady's position in this discussion?"the older Scottish man inquired making the ginger smirk at him as she answered cockily "Do I look like a whore to you?"

"We could put it to the test." one of the other Scotts teased looking her up and down making the rest of the group burst into laughter, "I don't hold with rape." the older highlander said and before he could add anything Bonnie's lips moved in her own accord "Wouldn't be the first man to do that to me." her voice was void of emotion as was her face for the first time since she stepped into the cottage.Everyone looked at her shocked that she would openly say those words and confessed to having been a victim to such actions from a man, "We've not the time for it, anyway." the man added.

"Dougal, I've no idea what she might be or who, but I'll stake my best shot she's no a whore." the man who had rescued her said, remembering how she had fought against Captain Randall, "We'll puzzle it out later. We've got a good distance to go tonight. And we must do something about Jamie first." the man, Dougal, said. "Out o' joint, poor bugger. You can't ride with it like that, can you, lad?" Dougal questioned the ginger man that Bonnie had been eyeing earlier while the only woman in the cottage turned around to face them, "Hurts bad enough sitting still. I couldna manage a horse." the said ginger, Jamie, answered. "I don't mean to be leaving him behind." Dougal retaliated, "There's no help for it, then. I'll have to force the joint back." another Scott said while Jamie nodded saying "Aye."

Bonnie zoned out as she watched everyone prepare to pop the joint back into place the wrong way, which when she noticed what they were doing all but growled at them "Don't you dare! Stand aside at once. You'll break his arm if you do it like that. You have to get the bone of the upper arm in the correct position before it slips back into joint." as she stalked up to them, she didn't know why but she felt protective of the pained ginger, Jamie. The said ginger looked at her fully for the first time and felt like he had seen her before, he watched as her cocoa brown eyes filled with angry and untamable fire as she glared at his uncle and her full lips were in a thin line, her lips... his eyes somehow couldn't drag themselves away from her pale lips.

Bonnie stepped closer to the hurting Scott and gently touched his dislocated shoulder, her fingers sending shocks and tingles up both their arms, Jamie panted both in pain and in shock and confusion of the shock, Bonnie knowing what they meant simply chose to ignore the as she moved her hand to him and clasped it in hers, she looked at the Scott behind Jamie and said in a demanding tone "Hold him steady." Bonnie pulled shifted Jamie's arm onto the correct location making him groan out in pain, before stopping at looking at him, pity, concern and sorrow clear in her eyes as she said "This is the worst part."

Bonnie quickly popped the bone in the correct position, Jamie gasped in pain at first the relief before speaking in Gaelic, Bonnie smiled at him slightly as Jamie said in English "It doesn't hurt anymore." it pained the ginger woman to shoot down his happiness when she blurted out, "It will. It will be tender for about a week. You'll need a sling." Jamie looked at her, astonished that she knew what she was talking about. "I require a  long piece of cloth or a belt." Bonnie says looking around the men who look at her and some even chuckled.

Hearing the chuckled Bonnie clenched her jaw and looked at the main source of them angrily and narrows her eyes, Jamie couldn't take his eyes of her as his uncle said "Give her your belt." the Scott that had been laughing took off his belt and Bonnie was quick to snatched it from his hands and started to adjust it to Jamie's arm, "Taking a guess you've done this before." Jamie questioned. "Yeah I'm a healer." Bonnie said absentmindedly, the tingles and shocks that shot up her hands and arms every time that her fingers skimmed Jamie's skin sent her heart into an extra skip, something she wasn't quite happy about.

"Aye." Jamie said in a distant tone too, truth be told had it not been in the conditions that the men had met Bonnie, they would have thought that she was a princess of sorts, her dress looking well above the social status they were in, "You mustn't move the joint for two or three days. When you begin to use it again, go very slowly at first. Stop at once if it hurts. And use warm compresses on it daily." The young caster said, smiling at Jamie warmly, no one missing the action, "All right. How does that feel?" she asked the ginger. "Better. Thank ye." Jamie answered smiling slightly shyly at her.

"Can you ride?" Dougal questioned breaking up their moment, Jamie looked at his uncle and answered "Aye." Dougal threw Jamie a blanket and said "Good. We're leaving." Jamie pulled his jacket over his back and walked out the door, Bonnie walking behind him and trying to make her eyes stay away from his kilted ass. Bonnie followed Jamie onto the horse that he climbed onto and hauled herself onto the same horse without any help or anyone telling her to, she tugged on her sleeves.
