A week had passed since the lone Duchannes arrived at Inverness, the birth had happened and everyone had already left, all but Bonnie and although she didn't have any company she was perfectly content with going on adventures on her own, visiting the ruins of the Castle Leoch and Cocknammon Rock. Walking out of the bed and breakfast inn she was staying in, at early hours in the morning, Bonnie answered her cousin's question as he awaited patiently over the phone "You don't get it Adam, every time I pass by that place, even if it is unknowingly I feel the need to go there, it's just like back at home when we find a magic object or the need I have to go find new tunnels." "It's god knows what time there in Scotland and you are going on a wild goose chase for some standing rocks, are you mental?" Adam John Duchannes inquired his cousin over the phone.
Adam was but 3 months younger than Bonnie and the two acted as if they were siblings or even twins at times, out of all the cousins they were the ones who were closest not counting their actual twin cousins Claudia and Paul. The twins being 5 months younger and Bonnie and 2 months younger than Adam, one thing that all of them had in common besides the blood that flowed in their veins was the fact that they were the oldest of all the cousins, after the twins were born there were no new children in the family for nearly a decade and a half. "No I'm not mental Adam, you haven't felt the pull that these stones have on me, I was half way up there the other day and I can just tell you that the energy, the magic that woozed from those stone would be enough to make a young caster wild." Bonnie said.
Her heeled feet clicked against the road concrete as she walked, "I don't care if the stones did that, you don't know anything about these rocks..." Adam started but was quickly cut short when the ginger simply cleared her throat, "The rocks are the Craigh na Dun Stones. They wooze with power and you want me to stay away from them!?" Bonnie hissed at him, her tone turning instantly cold, "I just have a super bad feeling about this cous, please listen to me Bon." Adam tried to reason but Bonnie simply ended the call and placed the phone on her long coat pocket.
Fixing her dark blue beanie Bonnie finally arrived at the sight, stopping only slightly to look at Inverness with a small smile, suddenly she felt a great wave of power enveloping her and felt more alive than before, her crystal started to shine too meaning it clearly was a great source of power seeing as it only lit up when someone or something extremely powerful besides Bonnie. Lifting her hand to the necklace she quite clasped her slim finger around the glowing transparent crystal and closed her eyes, when she opened them again the neon green and yellow eyes that she usually kept hidden under a charm shun brightly in the night.
The crystal had stopped shining and Bonnie could hear movement towards the standing stones, deciding that it would be best to crouch down and hide in the bushes rather than try and climb a tree and attract attention to herself, she kneeled downed onto the wet grass and let the green scenery cover her small frame, her real eyes still showing. Suddenly a bunch of people dressed in white, including the reverends housekeeper, appear dressed in white holding some kind of candle lit torches, they started to dance rhythmically around the center stone and in between the other ones, once again the petite ginger felt a wave of power fill her as she watched the show that the dancing women were putting on.
Intrigued as she might be Bonnie knew that she was in the right place, she was right to follow what her gut was telling her and be there that night, she didn't understand why or how but she knew that she was doing the right thing, watching the dance of the druids. She watched as the sun rose and filled the area and light up the stones, the fog that was resting on the ground quickly rose to the air as the sun touched it making the scenery look more magical than it already was.
