Truth be told, Bonnie spent the first 3 hours sleeping and the remaining of the time using her gifts to try and locate the nearest caster to see if she could get herself home safely and quickly. Then when she sat on the bed, looking at the fire with glamoured eyes the door burst open to reveal Mrs. Fitz, she looked prepared to wake the ginger up seeing as when she saw her looking at the fire with a blank look she was shocked.
She quickly turned around and grabbed the mug with broth and handed it to the ginger who had finally noticed her, allowing her to stand up, grab the mug and move towards the fire while eating it, then after she finished, Mrs.Fitz quickly helped her get changed into more time appropriate clothing before saying "There. Now you're ready to be taken to himself." A knock on the door alerted the two women that someone was by the door, and when Bonnie turned to it she saw one of the men with whom she had traveled
Bonnie followed him out of the bedroom and towards where he was leading her, until they arrived in a room where he told her "Wait here." before he left. Bonnie's caster abilities allowed her to quickly get a grip of her surroundings when she was using them in her new chambers, so this allowed her to freely walk towards the window and peer out before focusing on the books beneath it. Her hand reached for one but it halted when she heard a deep voice saying "I see you've met some of my friends." Prompting the ginger to turn around to face the person.
"Forgive me I didn't mean to intrude." Bonnie quickly said, bowing at the clearly older man, making him shake his head slightly before saying "Some old comrades, some new acquaintances yet to make their secrets known but all friends nonetheless." his words sounding old and wise, which seemed to reflect what the man was, "I welcome ye, mistress. My name is Colum Ban Campbell Mackenzie, Laird of this castle." the man introduced making once again Bonnie curtsie out of respect.
The lord of the castle gestured for Bonnie to sit down, which she did, allowing the lord to move to the other side of the desk and sit down, "It was my understanding that my brother and his men found you in some apparent distress." "Apparent?" Bonnie echoed in half confusion, "I was attacked and nearly raped by one of the soldiers of King George II. I don't understand how you can claim it to be apparent?" her tone suddenly becoming harsh and angry, her eyes trained on the laird of the castle, silently prompting him to add more wood to the fire.
Something that the laird quickly understood, leading to him inquiring instead "Did you suffered further molestation?" "No. Please extend my gratitude to your brother for his kind escort." the ginger replied, honesty and sarcasm slipping into her words. Colum nodded at her words and the two had a bit of a stare off before Colum started again "I do, myself, wish to know how exactly a lady such as yourself came to be wandering about in the woods, dressed in nothing but her shift."
The ginger raised a brow at his question before taking a deep breath and replying "I was traveling with a manservant to distant relatives in France, and we were set upon by highwaymen. I was forced to abandon my horse and property in order to escape and whilst wandering through the woods, I was suddenly attacked by Captain Jack Randall and it was during this unpleasant encounter that I was relieved of my clothes."
Colum Mackenzie understood that he was close to most likely losing his life if he annoyed the ginger woman so he instead he claimed as kindly as he could "I offer you the hospitality of our humble home." which lead Bonnie to nod at him and reply "Thank you." before standing up and walking away.
