(The following day 9 am)

Ash was eating his delicious breakfast meal; today was training day so there would be no oppoents  to compete against. 

"Pik Pika chi pi" asked Pikachu(can I go against Greninja in today's training)==++

"of course"replied Ash as he finished gulping down the  string of spaghetti.

(9:30 am)

Ash had arrived on his field for training, he had already done his warm up exercise and was beginning his training session. Ash had switched out Infernape and replaced it with Umbreon( He caught one in chapter 2 or 3, on Mt silver).The fire monkey was still tired on his battle with Metagross so Ash decided to send him back to his nanodex and call out Umbreon since he knew he would come alone a lot of psychic type Pokemon in the tournament.

The training session battle was Pikachu vs Greninja like Ash had promised.

Ash didn't want to stress his pokemon out so he decided to only see a few moves of each. He was going to make sure that none of them faint as it could be a real breakdown for their motivation.

"Pikachu, use iron tail, Greninja counter with night slash" commanded Ash.

As pikachu used iron tail, Greninja's hand started to glow purple and he summoned blades of darkness which countered iron tail.

"Alright Greninja, lets see if Pikachu can hold our true power" said Ash and with that, he and Greninja started to merge their feelings together and allowed Greninja to turn into Ash-Greninja via their bond. Greninja surrounded him self with a water veil and then, slowly the water veil started to shape into a shrunken which made its way to Greninja's back and stayed there, as if glued.

"Greninja water  shrunken, Pikachu volt tackle" shouted Ash.

Greninja took the giant shrunken of his back whilst Pikachu started running towards him with electricity surronding its body. The giant shrunken hit Pikachu in the face and made a giant explosion. Pikachu was badly damaged.

"Pikachu, thunderbolt" Pikachu shot a bolt of electricity with also dealt huge damage to Greninja.

"Alright, lets stop" said Ash. Suddenly, Ash saw out of the corner of his eye, a person that looked exactly like Serena. Ash shook his head in confusion, surely he was imagining it.

Then Ash saw a little girl, was it Bonnie, it looked very similar. Ash saw a boy, he wore glasses and had a backpack that looked exactly like Clemont's.Ash then saw his face, the exact same face as Clemont. Then it must be shouted Ash and he ran off to speak to them. All his pokemon followed closely behind.

(10:30 am) 

Ash finally caught up with Clemont, Bonnie and Serena.

"Clemont, Bonnie, Serena its me remember" shouted Ash as he ran towards them.

Upon hearing a familiar voice, the three turned over their heads.

"Ash, its you" they all shouted at the same time. 

"Did you come here to compete in the Legends league" Serena asked her boyfriend.

"Yeah" replied Ash.

"What about your mom" asked Serena.

"Oh she betrayed me" said Ash sadly. Then explained what had happened.
