(Time skip a day later)

Ash was let out of mental hospital.

Apparently, mr Goodshow who had joined the traitors, manage to pursuade the Pokemon association to not let Ash back in the tournament.

Ash life seemed to have been destroyed. However, he remembered one thing: don't give up till it's over. 

"In darkness there always is a light" 

That phrase seemed to echo in his head.

He was going to do it!!! He has gone to far!!! To far to give up. 

He had once swore an oath to teach the traitors a lesson and be a better trainer, yet he had broken them. It was like a glass shattering!!!

Then, everything seemed to fade out of existence. He thought that he could here Gary asking him what was wrong but he couldn't here it properly, Then, colours started to swirl in his eyes and then:

—silence—

Ash was in a place that was indescribable. The he started to notice that there was a light in the far distance, perhaps 100 miles away. He didn't know how he could see it. He just could.

The light seemed to attract him.Ash slowly moved towards it. He just couldn't help it!!! 

Then, he soon found himself flying. At the speed to 1/4 light!!! 

How is this possible??? He tried to ask himself though he suddenly found out that he couldn't speak. The voice however, echoed around his as if the whole thing was his mouth. He didn't understand.

Before he knew it, he had already reached the light. This was when he realised the light was not a light but...... aura. From a Pokemon.

"Arceus" he tried to whisper and though he couldn't speak, the space around him spoke for him.

"Yes, Ash" replied Arceus.

"I have a gift for you." It said in a voice that sounded ageless and genderless.

As he said that, all the other legendaries gathered around it.

There was Ho Oh, it's wings shiny bright and pure.

There was Solgaleo, a pokenmon which he had never seen before.

There was even some mythicals such as Celebi and mew!!!

There was also darkrai and it's counter to form the lunar duo. There was the lake trio and all sorts.

"As you see, Ash. I have gathered all the legendaries and mythicals except......" 

Arceus give a slight pause and said

"Necrozma."

"You must understand that necrozma had been bringing a revolution between the legendaries and mythicals and ultra beasts. Your goal is to catch as manatee ultra beasts as possible before they join necrozma." Said Arceus weakly.

Ash was wondering what ultra beasts were. On the second hand, he was wondering why Arceus sounded...... powerless.

As if reading Ash's mind, it said sternly

"Ultra beasts are legendary Pokemon from other universe it Omniverse. They are creature beyond the power of time and space. To make matters worst, necrozma has a true form: one which he can achieve with the full power of light!!! Now, I cannot even take one moment to recharge my energy without necrozma trying to break the barriers down. The fate of the world is in your hands......"

Ash looked stunned. He never expected such great responsibility!!!

"Chosen one. I will help you as a reward. I will ask dialga and Pakia to go back in time and space and allow you to compete in the legends league. I also have these: ultra balls along with pictures of ultra beast. You can keep one of the ultra beast you catch. Remember that you mustn't show your ultra balls or tell anyone about the meeting as it will disrupt the time line. You mustn't use an ultra ball until now. Which will be 3 days later after you get send back into time."

"Farewell"

Then Ash got transported through a time portal and back in time.

"The battle will start now"announced the referee.
