"Are the both of you going to stay in the same room in the hotels?"

Are we?

Jin's eyes visibly widened at that question, before he quickly composed himself.

You gulped, looking away as you tried to think of anything that could save the both of you from this awkward situation.

You're not his girlfriend.

You don't even know him that well.

Plus, there's no other reason the both of you would have to stay in ONE SINGLE room.

So, it's obviously a NO.

The man in front of you could sense the awkwardness in the atmosphere as he saw the both of you getting uncomfortable at his question.

"It's okay if you don't want to. I mean, we could always get a separate room for her."

You looked up at him, and he gave you a small smile, and you could feel a wave of relief wash over you.

Jin stayed silent, and couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. If only he could stay with you and get to know you better.

But he knew what staying in the same as you would mean.

The boys teasing him.

You getting awkward all the time.

And the danger of some sasaengs possibly being present there and leaking information about a girl in his room.

And the last thought was what scared him the most. Not just for himself, but for you too.

"We need to do something about sasaengs."

It was him who finally spoke after his brief period of silence.

And you knew by the look on his face that he was getting worried about something.

That's when you realised that this bond wasn't just establishing a connection through accidental physical touch and getting to sense each other's heartbeat,

It was something that connected your minds and hearts, making you feel like you could understand every move the person next you made, every emotion he felt.

You wondered if that was the case with him too.

You wondered if he could sense your feelings for him.

Bang PD's expressions hardened a bit at the mention of those obsessive people, so called "fans".

No matter how hard they tried to get rid of those people through warnings and strict measures, there were some who were always crazy and cunning enough to find out each and every detail about the boys.

He knew what Jin was trying to tell him.

Even though they would do everything to keep you away from the spotlight, but there could be a situation where suspicion would be drawn to a girl going around with BTS, who isn't even one of the staff members.

And no one would even know how that person could manage to find out such details.

"There is one simple way."

He said at last, looking at you.

And then, both the men exchanged knowing glances.

What are they up to now?

"There is only one way for the both of you to be around each other without any suspicion."

You nodded, giving him a look that probably displayed all of your curiosity.

"You'll have to become a part of the Bighit Staff."

You plumped down on your bed, staring lazily at the two packed bags lying on the floor across the room.

Going to Los Angeles tomorrow.

Spending months away from Seoul, Ara and your office.

You sighed heavily at the mere thought of it.

You thought over all that had happened throughout the day.

Met the boys and Bang PD.

Saw Seokjin getting embarrassed a good deal by them.

Listened to a lot of stuff related to the tour.

And had that discussion in the end with PD Bang in the end.

Your mind stopped at the last thought as you remembered PD Bang's words.

"You'll have to become a part of the Bighit Staff."

You were obviously a bit surprised by his his 'solution', and you had thought that he was now going to make you give up your job and work with Bighit.

Almost.

As much as you understood the gravity of the situation, you weren't really sure if you could make yet another compromise in just one day.

But he could probably see through you, and he assured you that you just had to pretend to be a staff member when outside.

You would travel and stay with the staff members, and could be around Seokjin without much hesitation, even during the concerts.

And you could tell from the look on Jin's face that he really wanted you to agree on this.

You didn't really understand what was up with him lately, but nevertheless,
you agreed.

After all, it was for your own good.

For the both of you.

Right?

You turned your focus from your luggage to the streaks of moonlight falling through the window as your mind was getting crammed with the thoughts of leaving the next day.

Even though you were excited for what was to come in the next few months, you couldn't ignore the heavy feeling in your heart.

As if it wasn't really going to be all merry and bright.

You were surprised that your boss had actually allowed you to continue your work while staying away from office as you had managed to give her a not-so-satisfactory explanation of why you were to suddenly go missing for the next few months.

An important situation came up at home. Which is not in South Korea.

You scoffed to yourself as you remembered how how had made a terrible attempt to act all exasperated as if it was something really grave and important.

And someone so strict and authoritative as her had believed it.

You had risked it all just to be with your soulmate, and you hoped he'd see that.

You sighed again as exhaustion seeped in, and you remembered that he hadn't come home with you today.

He too was visibly tired by the end of the day, and he still had to pack his bags.

So the both of you had decided to return to your own abodes, back to a late dinner and a good night's sleep before facing a giant crowd at the airport the next morning.

With all the excitement and exhaustion you had gone through,

you found your eyes getting heavier with sleep as the moonlight through the window dimmed and your world soon came to a pause.

I might have said this earlier, but I NEVER EVER THOUGHT THAT THIS STUPID PLOT OF A JIN SOULMATE AU COULD CROSS 13K READS AND RECIEVE LOVE FROM SO MANY OF YOU.

NO.

BECAUSE THEN I'LL START SCREAMING AND SMILING AND CRYING AND SWEARING AND THEN PEOPLE AROUND ME WILL ACTUALLY SEE THAT I'VE GONE CRAZY

The album is a freaking BOP and oh my god the Kinetic Manifesto Film was-

(I wish more of us had known it was also an official MV, and then the records would've been broken at an alarming number)

But the album is everything thing I've ever wanted to hear from BTS and it made me smile and cry and jump around :))

I'll never ever regret stanning BTS because they aren't just a phase, they're everything for me now.
